If its one of the bulbs that looks like a small glass tube that has metal on both ends good luck! I tried to find a bulb for my cooler and you have to 100 of them , they won't sell just one.
I had the same issue on a Whynter WC28S SNO 28 Bottle Wine Cooler, it even seems like most of the thermoelectric wine coolers, fridges, and such have the same boards by hanny. For cross refference parts I used NTE because Fry's Electronics had them.

Also I have a venotemp wine cooler that has pretty much the same board, with the same plugs for fans, light, control panal, and cooler fan for $45 shipped at their site under replacement parts. Switch, wire harness problems, bulbs blown or wrong connectorposition fitted to bulb.

Wireharnes probleems:
Get 2nd person and a multimeter set for suitable 12 VDC range
Let him step on the break and you mesure between ground and +terminal of light bulb connector if there is 12 VDC. If all wiring gives Voltage when brakes kicked, harness ok. Then bulb/connector problem: correctly matched.
If no 12 VDC from wiring the left with harness or switch.
Small job, go to local dealer. Needs adjustment or broke.
It sounds like the bulb is not getting power. There is a door switch that turns it off when the door closes...this may be stuck. There is usually an optional (depending on age) ON/OFF switch that overrides the light to be on full time. If the light will also not turn on with that switch then there must be a disconnected or broken wire either going to the light switches or going to the light socket from the switches. I hope this helps.
Took everything out and got on my back with flashlight to find a tiny screw holding lens in place. Found that a little night light fit and worked fine. Wish the manual had a simple direction to fix the problem.
