there is no reset button. Ypu need to give more detail about what i sgoing on with your set. Also what is the model and ctc numbers thfey can be found on the back of set. Unplug set for around 30 minnets then plug back in see if it wil work then.
I would take it to a repair shop, they charge around $50 to look it over, and then tell you want is wrong with it and they will give you the cost to fix it. This is what I do when TV's go out. It will save you time and money in the long run.
Try unplugging your set, If you didnt save the changes this should reset it back to default settings. If that desnt work, you will need to go bak into the service manual and adjust the horizontal size. Just write down anything you change so you can revert back if you have too.
The P52940 uses the 195 series chassis. The vert/hgt control is for vertical height. It adjusts the size of the picture from top to bottom. If your picture is flipping, it most likely means that something is wrong in the vertical circuits. I have seen fluid leak out of one of the CRTs and drip down on the vertical output IC, causeing the picture to go crazy vertically. The set should be serviced by a qualified tech experienced in the RCA 195 chassis.
