My problem is the DVD player won't play and no matter what car adapter I purchase they don't work. They won't power up the DVD player at all. I bought one today from Best Buy and the DVD player came on for 5 seconds and went out. I even tried it in a different car with no luck. I was beginning to think it was the adapters I was buying, but now I don't know. Could it be my fuse as well?My problem is the DVD player won't play and no matter what car adapter I purchase they don't work. They won't power up the DVD player at all. Hello Just clean the CD lens unit, by inserting a cleaning disc into the CD drive and play it at least three times. If this does not help you, the laser pickup assmebley needs replacement. The lesns cleaning disc an be bought from most of the electronic spare part selling shops at your town, and won't cost more. OK.
Try to clean the lens of your dvd player. Buy a cleaner for the lens. If the problem still experiencing after cleaning, you need to bring it to the repair shop for further checking. Maybe there's a part inside the player that need to replaced.
it is possible that the battery has been reset at a low level so it won't hold the charge. You may need to have it emptyed and then recharge it for the max time or you need to replace the battery.
Same as sherpi here, player was fine, and all of sudden started rolling and never stops. Rolls with or without a disc in it...seems to play the discs fine, but never quits rolling.
