SOURCE: keurig maker dispenses too little water when brewing

I found this solution on another post. Unfold a small metal paper clip and insert through the lower piercing needle of the cup holder to **** out any debris in the needle.Even a small piece of coffee or debris can slow the water flow through the cup.

SOURCE: My Keurig dispenses about 3oz of water on next to largest setting

I JUST fixed (I Hope!) my 11 month old B60 by taking a paper clip and a straightened safety pin to the top of the coffee maker (where the top pin punctures the top of the cup) and the BOTTOM pin which punctures the bottom of the cup. (remove the bottom dark brown holder by pushing up on it).

After one or two attempts, I ran water through it without the coffee cup, then used a decaf cup and brewed it just fine....

SOURCE: my keurig model b66 coffee maker is not dispensing

Run the descaling operation as described in the manual. If this doesn't do the trick, get a can of compressed air with a nozzle on it and blow the air into the upper nozzle, the one that pierces the cup on top. This works when the descaling isn't the problem.

SOURCE: The Keurig is heating up the water, yet is does

1. Power off machine.

2. Using a metal paperclip, insert it into left side of top needle. It must insert at least 1" deep. Insert it into slot on right side and again from back of needle.

3. Remove KCup cradle. Separate bottom from top. In the top section, insert the paperclip up into bottom needle from the bottom upwards. It will not go all the way thru and this is normal.

4. Reassemble KCup cradle and reinsert it back into coffee maker.

Keurig B150 - continuous water dispensing

Their appears to be a scale build up inside the valve that dispenses the water when demanded. This is an electrical solenoid much like in fridge water dispensers but smaller. The scale is not letting the valve close completely after dispense. On a regular brewer running vinegar thru the machine a couple of cycles will usually dislodge the obstruction in the valve. If you can manually add water to the brewer, you should add the vinegar instead to clean the valve. Otherwise you may have to disassemble locate the valve and soak in descaler, or vinegar.

Trying to run Keurig for first time. Shuts off after 1 minute.

Hello MWG, Make sure that you're following the PRIMING instructions for the Keurig coffee machine. First fill completely the water reservoir and then turn on the coffee maker. Allow it to self-prime, which takes up to 4 minutes to accomplish this.

Then you place an empty cup under the dispenser and DON'T put in a K-cup into the top (yet). Now push the large cup selection and let it run. You should get some water coming out of the dispenser into the cup. After that, you should be all set to brew coffee.

If you've already tried this, unplug the machine and start over to allow the machine to properly prime and cycle through the startup process.

Since you didn't provide the model (version) of your Keurig coffee machine, I've attached a link to their site where you can get both the Quick Start Guide and the Manual for all the various models.

I find it's a good idea to keep an electronic copy of all my manuals on my computer for future use and reference.

I hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

Our Keurig only dispenses a partial cup of coffee. We descaled as recommended and did the paperclip cleaning of the need,es and no improvement. When we press brew, it draws an appropriate amount of water...

Keurig coffee maker dispenses only part of a cup (about 5 ounces) after brewng one cup. Running a second clear cup (w/o K-cup) shows coffee grounds in cup of clear water. the maker will then brew a full cup of coffee. It appears that the top pin is too long and goes into the coffee after it punches through the top of the K-cup. Some of the gorunds appear to get stuck in the top pin.

My Keurig B60 is suddenly not dispensing water when a K-cup is in the machine. Dispenses fine with no cup in chamber.

I solved it by running the machine a couple of times without a K cup in it. The second time through, a few grinds ended up in the cup. After that, the machine works fine.
