Bought this tv for 50.00 the guy said it had a problem when you turn it on the pic looks good then after about 5 to 10 min it bows an the colors seperates red blue green i need help i always wanted a big screen never had the money to get one found this one for my wife for valintines day she was so happy thank you please help
I just had the Same identical problem fixed on my identical tv. The problem is with a trashed circuit on the digital convergience board. Certified electronics is the company i had come out and fix mine, they charged $395.00. Which included replacing the circuit, reconditioning the power supply and cleaning all 3 projector lens and the interior of the cabinet and screen.
If this problem happens after such aive mins and it is consistently giving that same problem to every time the set is turned on then it is a cold solder in your circuit of the video.if it gives that problem on start up ten the video amp and related circuit should be checked.have a tech check your tv.good luck.
