We just purchased the 360 but it keeps freezing only after 5 minutes of play so we know it is not hot we also have a fan on it but still it does not work properly. I have tried unplugging everything and waiting but still having problems even with the demo games. Can you help?

Just purchased the xbox 360 and it keeps freezing/locking up on everygame we have played. Any solutions?
Merry Christmas! Just out of the box this morning. I've tried 4 different games and ALL have frozen within 15 minutes. No red lights and no warning msgs. Three froze and one (NCAA Football 07) filled screen with orange and black stripes.
I am also having problems with my 1 day old Chritmas present. Mine makes a wierd clicking noise, by the hard drive, when it is trying to "think" (this is with no game disc in it yet). It freezes up when I try to access XBOX live and takes a long time to process any of the requests I make. I removed the hard drive and tried to play games without it. I can play GOW2 for a little while and then the disc unreadable error pops up. I'm pretty sure my problems are related to the hard drive, but any information people have would be appreciated. Thank you!
xbox freezes when playing games and sometimes when the xbox logo is appearing while the xbox boots up. it never freezes when i first start playing a game. I beat ninja gaiden 2 4times, too human got 20 hours of game play (with breaks inbetween of course), fallout 3 beat the whole game, each game had no problems, til after the games were already played vigously, now each of these games (these are just a few examples) freeze after about a single hour of gameplay, sometimes not even lasting 10 mins
