Question about Sony PlayStation (PS) Console

Console When a disk is in the console the sound from the tv is scratchy and fuzzy, but only at the beginning and end of the disk. I cleaned the disk and it didn't help. I put in another game disk and the same thing happened. It is not the tv or DVD player because the sound doesn't occur when playing a DVD or VHS. I hope this doesn't mean - chuck the player! I hope there is a simple solution! thanks a bunch.

    Still have the problem I sent in a couple of weeks ago. To be honest, I am not too impressed with the response time, but I guess beggars can't be choosers! Any info I can get will be appreciated.

My playstation does not read controller conection in order for the controller to work i need to insert a memory card for it to work and for two player games like yugioh in order to play p1 goes and then we hace to unplug the first controller and insert the second one

It may be that the laser is aligning itself after trying to run the disc, you may need to run a cd cleaning and aligning disc in the playstation, although, it maybe that the laser is on it's way out.

How do I fix a fuzzy screen
A fuzzy television screen is generally not the fault of the game console itself, but of your television.

The Xbox 360 is an HD game console, and from personal experience, trying to render an hd image in 480i Standard Definition will cause it to look somewhat fuzzy regardless of the television.


Just to make sure it is not the Xbox, I would, if possible, suggest you try the 360 on another television, preferrably with the HD cables (remember that there's a switch on the cable itself that you will need to switch from SD to HD).

Unfortunately, if you do not have access to a high def television, you can always fiddle with the contrast and sharpness on your standard def TV to reduce the fuzzyness, but the screen will always be somewhat fuzzy.

I realize this is probably not the answer you wanted, but to solve this problem for my own Xbox, I ended up purchasing an inexpensive HD Television.

My genesis model 1 turns on but the screen stays fuzzy i tryed the rf out to the back of the tv it still is fuzzy. T try it with the yellow and white wire cords that go in front of the tv still fuzzy...
The game cartridge terminals and the console receiver require disassembly and cleaning as per this service.

It has to be reflown.. That's the only solution to fixing the audio problems , because its in the motherboard.

TV screen is fuzzy
Follow the steps below, Hope this helps

1. Try another Av cable ( Audio video Cable )

2. Try another television

3. If the steps dont work, call xbox customer support to have your xbox serviced. Good Luck! hope your console still has warranty

This issue means that your xbox 360 console is having a problem with its Video Card.

i take it you have tried another game....and as far as the tv goes it may only b that input i work for a cable company and see this quiet often so try plugging the xbox into another input if that doesnt work you may have a bad disk drive or a bad hard drive....like i tell everyone else if you have a friend that lives close buy take it there and hook it up use there hard drive and cables that way you know for sure it isnt the system

Xbox Picture is Fuzzy, and sound makes picture worse
Your TV. Try it on a friends' TV using the proper cables and whatnot and see if that is the prob. I reckon it would be. Oldarse TV's may not handle the newer signal well..
