Call it from another phone to test ringer and ear piece volume. Then call another phone to test the microphone. If they can hear you, everything is in order.
if this is a PIN for your sim card, i suggest to insert your sim to a different phone and disable the "asking security pin" settings. regarding the screen of ur phone, you are having problem with the data FLEX cable. it needs to be replace. that is one of the disadvantage of a flip or slide type phone.
You might need your phone's security code to do that! But I guess you forgot the code? Nothing to worry though, you can try these steps below:
Turn off the handset and remove the SIM card.
Turn on the handset WITHOUT the SIM card.
At the Insert SIM card screen, enter *2767*2878# (that is, star 2767 star 2878 pound).
If fails please try code *2767*3855# (that is, star 2767 star 3855 pound).
NOTE: The handset now resets to factory settings. This erases all downloaded content as well as pictures, text messages, and phone book entries that are saved to the handset.
The handset automatically turns itself off and then back on, and then it returns to the Insert SIM card screen.
Turn off the handset and insert the SIM card.
Turn on the handset.
NOTE: It may take about one minute for the handset to find a signal after this procedure. After it finds a signal, the handset should then function as expected with the security code set back to default (00000000 8 zeros).

Does it have a SIM card? You may still have water in the SIM card. Open all the access doors, take out the SIM card (if you have one), battery and put all parts in a ziplock bag. Get some dessicant bags from your shoe boxes, cardboard pieces, saltine crackers and put them in the ziplock bag also and put on top of your microwave oven or in the window where it gets direct sunlight. This will help draw out all the moisture better than the hair dryer. I have done this many times on cell phones, gameboys, etc. and it works everytime.
