If you're using a DOL-101 model, Action Replay is incompatible with it... If you want to successfully use Action Replay on that model number, you have to get a mod-chip with Action Replay features, like the Qoob Pro, which is the best one... In the worst case, it could be the only thing to do to save the machine, short of buying a new one.. plus, there are many benefits in getting a chip.. which isn't too hard to solder in (even by a professional, at bare minimum)

The action replay codes won't work on the super smash bros melee game we follow the onscreen instructions for using the action replay but when we put the actual game in, the codes don't work at all

Well never use cheat devices on your consoles the Nintendo factory makes the consoles so that you can't use or able to use cheat devices for the system.

Can't get codes

I have just found the solution to the problem (2 minutes later XD)
Quote CodeJunkies' Support site:

Try resetting the Action Replay by following these steps:
  1. Insert the Action Replay into the DS
  2. While the Action Replay software is loading, press and hold all the following buttons: A + B + Start + Select.
  3. Release all of the buttons once the Action Replay is at the main menu.
The first screen should persist for much longer than normal, and when the Action Replay DS main menu loads, your hardware should be reset.

Once the reset has been performed, try connecting the USB cable to your PC, opening up the code manager software and transferring data again.

It won't return all of your games back, but it will allow you to start on a clean slate again. (Using the update feature will bring most, if not all of your games back

Action replay

sorry to disappoint you but there is no way of fixing it, you should get a free replacement depending on how long you have had the card, ive had my action replay for over a year now and it works perfectly, the card you have is corrupted trust me try and get a replacement from your manufacturer.
