How do you charge the delstar ds 821, & down load music?

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

I seem to have trouble loading music on my mp 3 player. I am a bit of a computer novice and can't find instructions on how to get the music onto my Onix mp3 player.

I bought the ALDI ONIX cheap mp3 player & it just took a while to charge. when i turned it off & on again it popped up as a USB drive on the desktop (MAC) & i just had to drag the mp3s i wanted from itunes onto it!

Make sure you do a 10 hour charge when you first get it. - ie; leave it plugged into USB & switched on...the red light on the side of mine blinks when it's on... happy music lovin'

Movies and Pictures to my GPX mp3 ML638B

The GPX ML638B takes only AMV files for video. you have to use the utilities tool that comes with it to convert video files. or find one online if you prefer. also you can download pre exsisting AMV format movies to load into it.
just be sure its in a USB mode and load directly onto the 1st area when you open its designated drive location. as for Mp3's no conversion is needed. simply load em onto the device. remember. video and pictures requre it to be set in USB mode (mode button on its side) and music out of USB mode.
while plugged into the PC on its screen will show USb on lower left of screen when its in usb mode. and wont show if its out of it.

Sync music wont work nieathere will usb drag and drop won t work either

I also have the W233. Love the 9 hour battery- great for music. I was having problems getting music to load but I just figured it out and it now works. 1) make sure usb cable is for data and not just charging. 2) make sure the music files are a supported file type such as MP3, because WML is NOT a supported file type for this phone (I had to change my Windows Media Player Rip options so that it was Riping to my computer as MP3, the default is WML. Then I had to delete and re-rip music as MP3 that I wanted on my phone). 3) also, the manual for the W233 says it only supports upto 2GB micro sd card, and only guarantees San-Disk but I used a 2GB Lexar and it works.

Hope that helps anyone

Pre-Loaded Songs

I realize this post is very old, so I'm commenting for posterity's sake. I don't have this particular model, but I had the same problem with my MMP8568. I couldn't delete pre-loaded tracks from WMP or manually from My Computer. The only thing that worked for me was reformatting my device and deleting everything off of it and starting over.

Basically, I went to My Computer and right-clicked on the icon corresponding to my MP3 player. I selected Format from the options and it deleted everything, from my own songs that I loaded to the pre-loaded content. Then, I resynched my music.

I tried EVERYTHING, and this was the only method that worked for me. :/

Won't let me play my music files

Do you have a subscription with Rhapsody or Napster?

If so, you need to log in for them to update your account, which will solve it.

If not, did you use your own music from CD's? Did you use Windows Media Player to copy the music to the computer? Did you change the default settings in Windows Media Player?

If so, the default settings for WMP are to "copy protect my music", which will give you this error. You will need to change the RIP Music settings in WMP. Tools>Options> un-check the copy protect my music option.

Finally, if you have the "Rhapsody" version, there is pre-loaded music on it that if not deleted, will cause this problem. You can format the device to remove the pre-loaded music, or manually delete it from the System folder.

Please add to the question if that didnt work.

Best of Luck.
