Model is ftf2140eso, when the start button is pressed, the start button flashes, when you hit the start button again, the door locks but no water starts to enter the machine. After 20 seconds, all light go off then the machine starts to beep and all of the lights on the right side flash every 5 seconds. I've unplugged the machine to try to reset it. The only thing my wife did was clean the rubber gasket with a towel.

Re: problem with frigidaire washing machine
I've read in a product review that Frigidaire put out a service bulletin regarding the electronic timer circuit board in these machines. Apparently enough of these boards failed to prompt a factory response.
With this in mind, you should call an appliance repair center and ask them if they're aware of this Factory Service Bulletin. In many cases like this, where a part is manufactured defective, the repair could be free to you.

I DON'T KNOW. CHECK ELECTRICAL OUTLET WORKS.
UNPLUG AND PLUG CORD BACK IN OUTLET. OPEN AND CLOSE DOOR A FEW TIMES TO ENSURE DOOR CLOSES PROPERLY. . PUSH 'STOP/PAUSE' TWICE. CHOOSE 'RINSE/SPIN' . CHOOSE 'HIGH SPIN'. PUSH START. THIS MAY RESET WASHERS PROGRAMS. NOT LIKELY BUT 'DELAYSTART' MAY BE ACTIVEATED..
The board would be the likely problem if the switch is good. To double check the switch check it for ohms, it should be around 1500 ohms no lower than 1400 if it is the switch is bad if it checks good replace the main control.
