Question about Blue Microphones Blue Hat Little Shots Kids Digital Camera
Hi - I am trying to help my daughter with her new Blue Hat ATM bank. For some reason we have no ATM card and no instructions, but we do have a card from another toy, ir that helps. Please advise! LB
Ok i hit the rest button on the back of the machine and it erased all my memory off of it so i had to reprogram it .If u put 1234 in as a pin # it will open then press balance and hit enter and u can change your pin # there .

How do you get the atm to add dollar bills to the bank? Ours counts the coins but when you put dollar bills in the slot it takes it in but does not calculate how much is in there.

I emailed Grammie Bet from a previous post for the instructions that she wrote down and thought it would be helpful to post them here and save everyone else the trouble! Thank you Grammie Bet for sharing this information with all of us!
Directions for using ATM Bank:
1. Insert ATM card or press reset button (on back).
2. User Name: do before setting PIN
Insert ATM card and press balance button.
Enter name with keypad.
Press enter to save name. (Press cancel to delete incorrect input during user name setting).
3. Enter 4 digit PIN on keypad (default is 1234).
Press Enter to confirm PIN.
If incorrect PIN is entered for 3th time, the screen will show incorrect Code and the ATM wil turn off automatically.
Remove ATM card and reinsert the card to activate the ATM again.
4. Changing PIN
In Main Menu, press ENTER. The current PIN will appear on the Screen. Enter a new 4 digit PIN to replace the existing PIN, press ENTER to confirm new PIN. (Removing battery or pressing the RESET button will change back to the default 1234.
5. Deposit
Enter correct PIN to access main menu.
Press DEPOSIT button. Enter correct deposit amount and press
ENTER to confirm deposit amount (2 minutes to enter deposit).
6. Coin Deposit
Main Menu, press DEPOSIT button. Insert coins.
7. Account Balance
Press Balance – total should show.
8. Withdrawals
Press WITHDRAWAL button. Press open button to open box cover. Withdraw money and enter withdrawal amount.
Press ENTER to confirm withdrawal amount. Total balance will be Updated. (2 minutes to enter amounts).
9. Turnoff
Remove card.
Insert ATM card, press RESET or replacing batteries will reactivate the ATM.
There were many helpful hints but the ones I recorded were:
To RESET, insert a paper clip into the opening on back panel.
Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Write down the BALANCE, before replacing the batteries.
I do have the instructions somewhere here in my house! If I find them I will post them here, God willing. :)
Peace

I returned to Rite-Aid where I purchased the ATM bank. They allowed me to open another one and look at the directions. (they were attached to the bottom of the machine). Because they did not have a copier, I hand wrote what I felt were the most important directions. If you e-mail me at [email protected], I will send you what I copied.

Toss toy in trash and buy a good old fashioned piggy bank. The stupid machine can't even count! It records pennies as dimes.

Solution to the ATM card issue is just to use any normal credit card. This toy ATM seems to only want to sense that a credit card sized object was inserted --- so I assume that it is not really reading and reacting to any type of mag stripe, but just the size of a card that is inserted. (At the price of this toy it is entirely understandable that the card reader is not a real mag card reader, but just a simple switch which any card sized object inserted will trip).
However, we now appear to have a different problem --- which is that I entered a second name and 2nd PIN number, which it appeared to take, and now it will no longer open with the first PIN #, or the second PIN which I stupidly entered.
Although the unit will no longer open in response to any PIN, it at least appears to have remembered both Alice's name and her stupid grampy's --- so weve at least got that going for us (as Bill Murray would say).

Something wrong with the computer itself... whenever I try the withdraw button it resets EVERYTHING - my kid's name, our pin, balance, etc. Last night I used a flat head screw driver to make a FINAL withdrawal and then promptly deposited the ATM machine into the trashcan.

I've got the instructions and the card. I follow the setup directions EXACTLY to enter my kid's name, then the personal pin. I can make a deposit and check the balance, but when I press the withdrawal button it beeps and acts like I pressed the reset button - all info is gone and I can't get it open.
I lost mine and found them on line some place and printed a copy but did not save to computer. We have been cleaning my room and I found both of them but they got in boxes some place. I went to get the money out and the batteries was dead so I replace them and it would not take my pin number and now I am stuck with $300.00 I need for hospital bill and can't get the money out. I looked on back of the bank it did not say blue hat I found it on amazon.com but the name is 2010 MerchSource,LLC. HELP! I am rolling quarters to pay my Hospital bill!!! I like the bank except you can't put very many bills in it the crazy thing stops up. The one they use to sell at Wal-Greens was Taller.
