How tos office 2007

Hi murthy_padal

MS Office 2007 is a program that requires a Licence before it can be used. Successfully entering the correct code confirms that the user has the Licence. If the validation process shows that the software is within the agreed number of validations defined in the Licence Agreement, the validation process is completed and the software is activated. Activation of the software entitles a user(s) to install and use the Program on the agreed number of different computers. Activated software entitles the user to benefit from support and to receive online updates, enhancements, security patches and upgrades from Microsoft. During the first of such downloads after activation, the activation is verified and the computer on which the Activated Program is installed becomes authorised for the Program to be operated on it and for it receive future regular downloads unhindered. Any failure of the Validation, Activation or Authorisation processes can result in Notifications, Error Messages, Usage Limitations or Usage Restrictions. MS Office can be installed without a Licence if a Trialversion is either be downloaded and installed or factory pre-installed on a new computer. At the end of the predefined and agreed Trial Period, a unique 25 character Activation Code must be purchased and entered in order for that Program to continue to be used on that computer. Entering the code, followed by Validation and Authorization put the user in the same position as the holder of a fully Authorizeded version of MS Office.

Currently, only 60 Day Trial versions of MS Office 2010 can be downloaded directly from Microsoft. And only full, licensed versions of MS Office 2010 can be purchased direct from Microsoft. Full, genuine original, licensed versions of MS Office2010 and limited remaining stocks of previous versions of MS Office(the 2000, 2003 and 2007 versions) can be purchased from Authorised Resellers of Microsoft Products. If you buy the physical software in a retail pack from a store or an online trader, you can Register and Authorise the product with Microsoft. Microsoft Products cannot usually be downloaded without the separate purchase of an Activation Code.
If you want genuine, authorised MS Office 2007, then you will have to purchase full, genuine, unused licensed versions of the software from a reputable, reliable supplier that still stocks it, such as Amazon (www.amazon.com). Online offers of Free Downloads of Microsoft products are probably almost universally either not genuine, illegal, unlicensed or pre-used licence versions, downloadable only from illicit download sites or sites that are masquerading non-existent Microsoft products as camouflage for the marketing of other (often unrelated) software, products or services and any software downloaded from them is likely to have Time or Usage Limitations or Access Restrictions once installed.

Another option is to download MS Office 2010 Pro 60 Day Trial and install it, carefully following each step. Go to: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try

You can also download, install and use a comparable free Program - Open Office (www.openoffice.org). Open Office can be used simultaneously with MS Office Pro 2007 60 Day Trial. If you delete MS Office Pro 2010 60 Day Trial, well before the 60 day expiry date, and Remove all components of it from Add or Remove Programs (or its equivalent in your Operating System) and restart before downloading and re-installing, it is usually possible to enter into further 60 Day trial periods.

I dont have a microsoft word iwant to have it!

Hi nabacayan
MS Office 2007 is a program that requires a Licence before it can be used. The 25 character Product ID is a unique code that links a genuine, original MS Office CD with its original Licence. During installation, the Product ID is entered in order to be able to continue the installation. Entering the code binds the user to use the software only in accordance with pre-defined terms that appear on-screen during the installation process and that the user is required to tick to confirm agreement with before being able to proceed with the installation. Successfully entering the correct code confirms that the user has the Licence. If the Licence is unique, when the computer goes on line, the Program becomes activated when the Product ID that was entered is checked and validated on Microsoft's Licence Database by cross-referencing it with the computer's unique ID. If the validation process shows the Product ID to have previously been registered in association with a different computer, the validation process then checks how many users the Licence is valid for and which computers' unique IDs have been validated.

In the event that the software was obtained by downloading, please note that full, genuine licensed versions of Microsoft Products cannot usually be downloaded without the separate purchase of an Activation Code.

If you remain unable to reconcile the software with its correct matching Licence and yet are determined to continue using Win 7 Ultimate and MS Office 2007, then you will have to purchase full, genuine, unused licensed versions of the software from a reputable, reliable supplier, such as Amazon (www.amazon.com). It is not a problem but a question. Can I install Outlook in windows 7 and will ntelos support it as my mailbox?

Hi,

Yes, but you will need to make sure if the version of Outlook that you have is comaptible to windows 7.
Officially only Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 are supported to run on Windows 7. This is similar to Windows Vista which also did not support earlier versions of Outlook. You can install a version prior to Outlook 2003 on Windows 7 though but there are several issues which you could encounter.
In addition to these version requirements, even with Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 there are several compatibility issues which you could encounter on Windows 7. The most critical of these issues have been taken care off in prior service pack releases. So before starting Outlook on Windows 7, make sure your first apply at least Service Pack 3 for Office 2003 and Service Pack 2 for Office 2007.

Hope this will help...Your response is very much appreciated...

Installing Enteprise edition MS office on Vista

you need to firstly check if you are an administrator. Windows Vista will only allow administrators to install programs.
Go to control panel and users to see if it say's administrator under your user name. If it doesn't then you need to either sign on as the administrator or change your user details to administrator, then you will be able to install it. Once it has loaded and you are happy with it, uninstall the 60 day trial version. It will be using a different liscense key to the new CD version of office that you have.

New computar

1) Word Perfect is an old and non universal Office Program. It will do what you want but may not allow you to share with people using MS Office (an expensive program). But there is an alternative (which just happens to be free too) which is called Open Office and can be downloaded from here:

http://download.openoffice.org/

Get someone to help with downloading and Installing Open Office. Be prepared to supply them with lots of tea or coffee as this could take a while.

When installed, adjust the default Save As feature (under Options) as MS Office 2000/XP which will allow you to share your documents with everyone. Do not select to save as Office 2007 as this is not a Universal format and can only be read by MS Office 2007 users.

2) You will need several books to learn how to use a computer (but you don't have to know everything!).

Learn only what you need to know to do the job at hand, and then gradually expand your knowledge as you learn to do new things or the same things in a different speedier way.

Start with something from the Library - try "Computers for Dummies" or "(insert the name of your Operating system here - eg 98, 2000, XP) for Dummies". Try to get hold of something like "(Microsoft) Office for Dummies" which will guide you through most of the Open Office stuff (even though things are called different names) - there may even be books on Open Office for beginners by now it has been out for a number of years - though you may have to pay for this, as a Library is unlikely to possess it [and you will want it by your side for frequent future reference until your become competent on the computer]).

Try to get some help and advice from friends on points you don't understand (don't forget to ask their kids for help).

Computers are not hard to pick up skills on, just be patient and be willing to ask people if they know how to do this or that. Soon you may find those same people coming to you to ask for your help (this actually happened to me when I was learning Excel).

Good luck.
