Well then go to where you got it from and ask them to have a look at it because if you get something that hasnt been working then they will have to give you one that will work.

Palm T3 frozen, tried restart in hole, nothing?

Doing a soft reset A soft reset tells your handheld to stop what it's doing and start over again. None of your information will be lost. After a soft reset, a screen appears that lets you reset the date and time, if needed. To do a soft reset, use the tip of an unfolded paper clip (or similar object without a sharp tip) to gently press the reset button inside the hole on the back panel of your handheld.

If a soft reset does not unfreeze your handheld, you need to do a hard reset. Doing a hard reset Only do a hard reset if a soft reset doesn't solve your problem, or if you want to clear all of your information from your handheld. [!] IMPORTANT A hard reset deletes all records and entries stored on your handheld, including the username that identifies the handheld. Before you do a hard reset, be sure to synchronize.

Hi my MC9090-G wont power on.

On an MC9090, with the battery removed, hold both power and trigger down, then insert the battery, and keep holding both buttons down. Wait for the onscreen display.

My cobra radio won't work unless it is on the charging stand. The batt. indicator says fully charged

Usualy when you have that type of problem it is because the battery is shot. As you indicated the charge light shows good but the minute you draw or try to draw current ( power ) by activating the radio the battery does not have enough life left in it.

How do i fix a zire 21 palm it wont turn on, charge, work nothing

Hello.

From Palm support:

1. Press either the Date Book or Address Book button to see if
you can turn on your handheld that way.
2. Perform a soft reset: Use the tip of an unfolded paper clip
(or similar object without a sharp tip) to gently press the
reset button inside the hole on the back panel of your
handheld.
3. Make sure the power adapter is plugged securely into a
working electric outlet and is firmly connected to the
handheld. (If no outlet is available, your handheld can also
be charged through the USB cable, but this takes much
longer.)
Note: Your handheld does not have an indicator light to indicate that your handheld is being charged.
4. Charge for another three full hours.
5. If your handheld now turns on, check the charging-battery icon to ensure that your handheld is being charged. Example:
a. Connect the handheld to an outlet and turn it on.
b. Tap Home .
c. Look for the lightning bolt on the battery icon at the top of the screen.
d. If you do not see the lightning bolt, repeat steps 3 and 4.

Hope this helps.

Their is a battery indicator on the LCD display on the left. 5 bars is a full battery. 1 bar means it needs fresh batteries. It requires AA alkaline batteries. You can buy a NiMH battery pack as an accessory that uses rechargeable NiMH battery. This is available at extra cost from Uniden. It is accessory part number BP250.

Palm Zire 71 handheld does not come on, did a hard reset, nothing

Confirm that both the cradle and the PDA ports are clean and free of dust or dirty.

Also, check your AC wall adapter to confirm that is working. The output should be +5.0 volts DC. Any repair shop has a multimeter need it to check it in no time.

If everything appears is OK, then confirm the PDA is properly placed in the cradle, and that the PDA is not loose on the cradle, indicating that the port contacts are not touching.

Best regards,

Axion handheld tv. No picture at all.

I have on and if the batteries start getting weak the screen display brightness is the first to stop working. Double check that, if you are on AC power try sliding the brightness control from dim to bright a few times and see if the rheostat has corroded. Those are a few of the quick checks you can try, let me know. Jay
