I have two rockford amps. punch 200 and punch 800. A friend told me i could hook the two amps together (with audio plugs, connecting the pass thru inputs) and could be used as one amp. Is this possible and does anyone have any diagrams to make the process ABC. Im def a novice! Probably good to tell you what im tryin to accomplish. I have 3 Kicker CVX 10in subs and the two amps and tryin to bridge the speakers off the connected amps. Am i tryin the impossible or endangering any of my epuipment?!
Honestly i dont think those to amps will push cvxs no matter how you wire them up.
the rms on the 200 should be used to push a door speaker.
the 800watt should deff just be hooked to 1 cvx but still wont max it out.

Is it the correct size fuse ? Is it the power fuse or remote ? Either way check your connections going into the amp . Try this hook your other amp to the set of wires for the rockford if that amp has a problem its a wireing problem if not chances are its an interal problem on the rockford . Hope this helps !
If you only have the sub connected to the amp, the other speakers would still play, if they are just connected to the head unit. I would check for power and remote power to the amp, and check the ground, if those are ok, I'd say the amp is bad.
Hi unbridge the subs and run them sterio your overloading the amp and its going into protection mode. if you have anymore questions about car audio feel free to ask me...
Assuming your P3 has a single voice coil (it will have only one place to plug your wires into) you will be running this in a bridged mode. You will take the left (+) coming off the amp and plug it into the (+) on the P3. Then take the right (+) from the amp and plug it into the (-) on the P3. This will make your amp push 500 watts to your sub. Now on the amp make sure your adjustments are as follows: Signal input switch is set to unbalanced for RCA input. Left Phase switch is set to 0. Right phase switch is set to 180. your X-card should be set to low pass. And adjust the gain for both R and L equally so it has equal power from both channels.
hi, some car amps need a high current remote supply to turn on. first make sure that you are using the proper gauge b+ and gnd cable for this particular rockford amp. then try switching the remtote turn on to this amp thru a simple Relay.(use the remote supply from your headunit as a trigger for the relay). do these connections without connecting any spks or rca line inputs. once amp is switching on then connect all other cables. OR lastly check the main fuse on the RF amp?? cheers
