My new telefunken mp3 player says there are no files but i watched the unit accept them while it was connected, after disconnecting it it says there is no files

Hi there. I have the same problem with my Telefuncken 1gb MP3 player. My computer on windows media player also shows me the files / songs and syncs to my device. When checking my device it shows no files. I purchased 2 and they are both the same. I contacted service and got told to return them to the store for a replacement, but i am sure it will be the same issue again.

Hi, I had the same problem when transferring from Windows Media. I have ended up copying them from Windows Explorer. The best way I found was to open 2 separate explorer tabs and have the MP3 folder open under the internal device folder. The use the other explorer folder to copy it across from (it wouldn't let me drag and drop into the internal device folder unless I did this). good luck! MY new problem is that only half the songs I have saved list the names!

How do I add audiobooks from windows media player to coby 300. Coby manager says it on there but coby player tells me no files.

Most audio books are Protected WMA files which this unit does not accept, you would have to convert your audio books to MP3 format for them to play properly on your MP300. Honestly, this unit isnt good for audio books as audio books break up into chapters, this unit has no sort order so your chapters would be out of order.

Cant put videos on mp3

It may be that your mp3 has specific file formats that it accepts for videos, which is most common - in which case you will have to covert or compress any standard format video into an acceptable video.

Your vidoes may be too big in actual screen size or your slick mp3 player doesn't accept videos.

You may also need the software compatible with your mp3 player in order to download video's successfully. You will need to download or install the software for your mp3 player which will make it easier to upload vdieo's. You may be able to do this via the manufacturers site, or prompted to do this when adding the device to your computer.

DOWNLOADING TO MEDIA PLAYER

1st of all, your Archos needs to be set to PC Hard Drive mode in the settings.
Then when you plug it into your pc, it will just show as a new drive.
You can then simply drag and drop movies, music, flash games, files etc.
The Archos accepts avi files with mp3 sound, however if you purchase the package which allows you to watch DVD's onthe Archos, then you also have a whole load of codec's which means it accepts Real Player files, Dolby Surround sound, you can copy 4.7 gb dvd's straight to it and much more.

Maybe it is not the type of file that your player accepts.  Try a converter and change the file to a type which your player will accept. There are tons of them out there, you just have to look!

Coby mpmp3 player won't play all my songs

This unit only accept MP3 or Unprotected WMA files. The audio file your trying to play is probably protected, make sure what your adding is MP3 is the safest way to go, as those cannot be copyrighted.

NEED ASSISTANCE DOWNLOADING FROM CD'S

I think I fugured it out. I think this should set the thing up for you. Turn the unit on. Push the button in and hold for the count of three. Wait as you count to two then push the buton in quickly. The screen should display a different "MUSIC" sign. Now the tiny file type in the upper left of the screen should say "mp3". Now make sure you are loading mp3 files. Be sure the unit is ON when you connect it to the USB port. Drag and drop files onto the mp3 player. I got it to accept 5 songs so far. I am working with Windows xp. Hope it helped!
