I have nokia 6270 it switch off automatically after 3 minute. i want to scan it with anti virus.how can i done it help me. thanks

The best way is to format by using this..Press and hold 3 keys i.e. Green, dial key, *, Star key, no. 3 , key on keypad and then press the power on/off to switch on the phone.Examine the battery backup of your phone. Remember, do not let go the 3 button i.e * + 3 + green just press and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen shown........But in N series don't release the three button until the time set shown . original system and factory setting has also done automatically.There is no guarantee coz it might not work with some phone...Or flash it.

hello dude...here is the solution for u... download the latest software which is compatibile to u r mobile(unique to u r mobile model) from nokia.com. In the site itself they have provided steps for insatllation, after successful installation restart your mobile and also do restorefactory settings once....if u r using memory card format it once.

You can remove virus from your phone by attaching it to a PC thru PCSuite and then running the virus scan for all drives. After you have done that install an anti virus on the phone. You can donwload free from your country's Nokia site or from www.dotsis.com.

this is a very common problem of software corruption this might be due to any previously installed program or a virus you need to get your phone flashed it can be done in mobile shop or by nokia service centres...it is a very inexpensive method....and i am sure it will solve your problem...

I had the same problem... was a virus from a new java application.
Format it, install a new copy of its operation system. You can find that on nokia.com

Hard Format it, It doesnt require Lock Code.

Turn off ur device. Press 3 buttons, Green (Call), * , and 3 Simultaneously and then Switch on the Device holding the 3 buttons still. . .dont leave it for 3 mins or so. Without MMC

And Format MMC in Card Reader.
