My monitor doesnt work.all its got when i plug it into the dvd is a blue screen,sound works fine.the lead is fine that goes from the dvd to the screen ,i tryed it on a different screen.when its switched on its on av.i havent got a remote for it so im not sure if thats why its not working.do i need one to make it work.

A blue screen suggests no input signal, or a signal that the electronics in the screen can't handle. I don't think you need the remote, but, it may help. I suggest you try the dvd on a working monitor and check that it's a compatible output. The LM-S6001 is a multi-system monitor both NTSC(US) and PAL(Europe/Aisa). The monitor has a composite video (usually yellow) and RCA(phono) input and DIN, the manufacturer is unclear if both plugs are present. You can assume it's auto-switching, but that may not be the case. More information is needed to fully understand your problem. 1. make/model of DVD. 2. description of external plugs on monitor.
