Removing silent mode

Depends upon you model number but most of the samsung phone tunn on/off to silent mode by pressing and holding # button lower right corner of the key pad. if it do not work then go the settings then sound setting then incoming call then alert type it would be settled at vibration or silent by moving navigational keys remove it and sett it and melody.

The Motorola V120t is not a GSM phone, its is a TDMA phone as indicated by the "t" in its model number. It does not have an IMEI number as all GSM phones do, instead it has an ESN number. The phones will only work on a TDMA network, which Cingular shut down a couple years ago. Hope this helps!

Press and hold the pound key (#) until it exits silent mode.

"Quickly Switching to Silent Mode
Silent mode is convenient when you wish to stop the
phone from making noise, in a theater for example.
In Idle mode, press and hold the "#" key until the “Silent
Mode” message and the Vibration icon display...

To exit and reactivate the previous sound settings, press
and hold the # key again until “Exit Silent Mode” appears.
The Vibration icon no longer displays."

Nokia phones call them "profiles" , a set of preset modes where you can have different volume levels and tones for different occasions i.e General, meeting, loud, silent etc. I was suggesting trying a different preset mode If available to see if it worked for you.

No, because they use different technologies. The katana's are CDMA, and AT&T is GSM.

Hold and press the pound key down.. and it will turn it off for you.. i couldnt figure it either.. so here yall go... sorry yall couldnt figure it out.. peace

To place the handset in silent / vibrate mode follow the steps below: To place the handset in Silent Mode, hold down the pound key (#) for about 2 seconds. To exit Silent Mode, perform the same action while in Silent Mode. You will see a confirmation message for Silent Mode, each time you enter or exit Silent Mode. The phone will vibrate rather than ring when you receive a phone call, message or alert while in silent / vibrate mode.
