Camera is used in rally car. Had it for 2 years and never a problem until the last rally. It is showing everything inside the car crystal clear but the windscreen and beyond is bright white like sun glare. Can sometimes see shadows of trees and road. No settings have been changed, it's on auto focus and white balance is on auto. Normally it copes brilliantly with moving at high speed through different lighting. Any ideas?

See this webpage for solution: http://www.codewrecks.com/blog/index.php/2009/05/24/windows-7-rc-acquisition-from-dv-camera/
you need to install windows live movie maker and windows live photo gallery,
you can download the live installer and install them both. Then you
must open photo gallery ( in
windows 7 the DV acquisition module is in photo gallery), go to the file menu and then, import from a camera or scanner.
