I have charged the batteries, removed them and reset the camera, pulled the SD card, and still have the same problem. If the camera is being charged or connected to a power source it will allow me to view pictures. It will not allow me to take pictures or scroll thru the settings once it is d/ced fro the power source. after 5 secs it just powers off.

The problem you are describing is a problem with a sensor that is on the card cover door. It seems to have failed and needs to be replaced. Following are the instructions to send your camera to Olympus for service.http://olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_servicerepair.aspOlympus will charge a flat rate repair fee for this product if beyond the one year factory warranty or the warranty is voided. The cost is $124 plus your local sales tax. This covers parts and labor, factory cleaning and diagnostic check, 6 month warranty and the cost of shipping the product back to you is all included in that price.
SOURCE: Olympus FE-340 camera i turn on the power the lens
your lens may be damaged...your zoom assignments may need to be realligned if there are no broken parts. If there are broken parts in your lens it may be better to get a new lens
SOURCE: Olympus FE-330 won't turn on..... URGENT!
If it is a rechargeable battery, it may be bad. Start with that first. If your camera will accept standard AA batteries try those too. (just to test) Your 330 requires a LI42B or LI40B battery.
Check page 47 of your manual. Tells you about the battery. Your described problem sure points to a bad battery. Don't have the manual?? Download it here free.
Thats a nice camera you have.

I will tell you how I did it for the same price you were going to charge me for a solution. To ask how I did it once I found a solution without a fee goes against your business model.
SOURCE: battery charger says charged. camera will not turn on
Hi there i can 't get your these word." camera charger is blue, used battery and new,". Please let me know the battery is new or or its old? If its old then the battery life is finished. Thats why he can't store the power.
Thanks.
