Hello
If a disc has been put in the slot of the disc in play, Remove the disc, whose number is displayed, and press stop button.
Because of light or noise, the changer has detected a disc in the lot of the disc being played, even though it is empty. Check whether there is a disc in the displayed slot. With front panel closed, hold down "STOP " button for atl least four seconds or more.

Will not play any CD's and will only appear with the No Disc Error, I tried putting in a cleaning disc but it wont play either, help?

Maybe the laser gone out, try to see if it's the laser, if not, something in the cd motor or any other part might have stopped working

Cd player flashes ''error'' when you put a cd in. It waa playing fine. Just stopped playing ejected cd.

try another cd wont play if too scratched or dirty. handle disc by edge, dont touch the surface of disc no matter how lightly you hold it, you will leave contaminants that cloud the surface. if none ever work try them in a house cd player still no joy, then discs aare no good, if they work in home player then car cd died, time for new one. heck who uses cd any more? its a hassle to change them (only 16 songs!), hassle to replace lost daamaged or stolen(borrowed by friends), skip or scratches, get a radio with usb reader/player or SD card reader, can be had for under $60 , an 8gb SD card for $25 (4,000 songs<do you even KNOW the names of that many songs?) What causes disc format error? the dvd cycles in the player. pulls the disc in cycles it then ejects it

its very likley the cd is fulty,, if its been left in the sun or it got hot some home burnt cd's dont play very well in car players,, try putting a cd head cleaner in the player but if it still refuses to play this cd try another cd that will play in your home player,, if it wont play that one its likley the lazer could have lost a bit of power in the car's cd unit

Compaq presario 700us will play cds wont play dvds

Try to put your laptop always on flat surface. Uneven base gives angle to the already tiny clearance space for the disc. Could be that the DVD disc run coz its finer, it will spin much slower than CD disc.

Hope i give you some good observation.

Error message

I had this happen to me as ell. you've probably got a cd stuck under the revolving tray. I took the top cover off and then opened the drawer and removed the offending disk. If you're not technically minded it's probably better to take it in to a repair shop. Mike
