You need to check that they are both operating on different channels there should be a switch or POT on the microphone and possibly one on the reciever. If they are static or preset you need to swap one for the other channel. Some (usualy cheap) mics have a preset or static channel often ch-A and ch-B, there should be one of each in the box. If you bought the extra body packs they will also come with the preset channels.

I have an on old Cobra 86 KLR with a microphone

I can certainly help you try to locate the serial number on your Cobra 86 XLR microphone. The serial number is usually located on the bottom or side of the microphone body, or it may be stamped into the metal body of the microphone. It is also possible that the serial number is located on the bottom or side of the microphone base or on the microphone's packaging or documentation. If you are unable to locate the serial number on the microphone itself, you may want to try looking for the serial number on the documentation or packaging that came with the microphone, or on the manufacturer's website. If you are still unable to locate the serial number, you may want to contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

How to play my acoustic guitar on my my jbl avr134 home sound system it does have a amplifier I want the steps for it plzz

An acoustic guitar, unless it is an electric type, will need to be played near a microphone in order to provide a signal for the sound system and the microphone or the guitar will have to be connected to a compatible amplifier input.

Impedance matching is not so important unless high quality is required but matching the sensitivity or gain of the input to the output of the source is important for optimum performance.
A moving coil microphone has an output of just a few millivolts and a crystal microphone can produce an output of around one volt.

I've purchased a Digitech 2 Channel UHF Microphone No:007968 from Leading Edge in Whanganui which has now closed up shop. I want to know if the system should have included a wireless unit either head piece...

This model does not have the facility for extra microphones. However, for $99.00 USD you can purchase a two mic lavalier system. It might be easier, cheaper and less frustrating. Keep in mind, I am not an employee or in any way associated with the store that I am sending you a link to.

How to remove white noise in my ub802

It can be a number of things.

Bad ground, excess gain, excess number of mixer channels with no inputs, Make sure the mixer inputs you are going to use are the only ones that are up. Power supply noise- flourescent lighting noise, Clamp on ferrites on the power cords of everything can help reduce this. You can sometimes track the offending source with a battery powered AM/MW radio.

It can also be caused by going from a balanced output to an unbalanced input with some impedance differences.

I picked up a vocopro karaoke machine at a yard sale and the echo makes a loud hum also i need a owners manual and remote where can i get help with this. model#890G thank you

Hello. For the manual and remote your best option is to search online. As far as the echo goes, this is just a cheap microphone with a cheap system. It will not go away unless you turn the volume down on the system. If you want to put good money down on a nice SHURE brand microphone it will definitly help with the echo, however it will not make the system any better.

Assuming you are running windows XP you need to

1. right click the speaker in the lower right corner and select adjust audio properties.

2. Select the audio tab

3. Pull the drop down menu under sound recording and make sure it is selected to your audio driver device. Most are either soundmax, creative(for soundblaster and audigy standalone cards), realtek, or ASUS.

4. Next repeat step one but select open volume control

5. Go to options and then properties

6. Select the circle for recording and make sure your mic input is checked.

7. Close that window and recording mixers will pop up. Select the input you need by checking the box in the lower left corner of the mixer channel. Adjust the level and then use your recording program or sound recorder under Program files>accesories>communication>sound recorder.

I was using my digitech vocalist live 2 pedal during a gig 3 days ago and about 2 songs in, everytime i touched any part of the pedal or pressed the harmony on/off switch to activate the harmonys, the...

Yeah I have an idea... It is likely static electric discharge. At this time of the year we get zapped touching metal things and it also drives electronics nuts... You don't even have to feel it to get zapped.

Try using in your bare feet and see if it fusses... We had a lady vocalist wearing those ugg boots and caused static pops in her microphone... anyway try the test and if it fixes the problem, then look up Staticide spray... You can get it at Amazon.com for example... spray floor in the area you are playing on to kill the static.

The only other thing is to check if wiggling the power input plug causes the problem. Those plugs are notorious for poor connections when they wear.

plug your condenser microphone into your computer before starting up the cubase program; then after you plug it into your computer start cubase; when cubase loads, press the [F4] key, then that will bring you to the audio configuration menu, there will be a speaker option and microphone option or what ever that stuff is; go to the microphone option and choose the microphone that you are using, then after you choose your microphone setting click close; then after that make create a [audio] then on the audio tab you will see a red button, by pressing that it will allow you to record, but there is another button beside it called a [monitor], press that button then it will allow you to hear your voice while you record your vocals. hope this help.
