Can't get pictures from 26690 Digital Camera

Take the SD card out of the camera and use a SD card reader plugged into a usb port.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Having gone over a month with no response, I assume this is no longer a problem.

You should use a card reader to download your pics instead of the camera.

Okay could be a program error with windows and that port. If you have a port on your pc SD Mini port take your camera card out and slid it into the PC port SD mini. it "should accept your photos." download them into My picture folder or some where you can remember. My doc, or my downloads. Oh what many for get is the pic's on your camera will be huge. maybe 3Mbs each, so be sure to compress them. Or it will take for ever and a day to email them. Compressing will not damage the Pic quality.

This seems to be a common problem

The TransTWAIN.exe seems to be a common tool for transferring files over a TWAIN interface. You may try transferring the pictures on a different computer and check if there is an error with the computer.

You can also update the camera driver.

the software default location is in my pictures/olympus master 2/year/month/day

you will need to call olympus support for them to help correct your problem... could be due to virus protection program changing your program around

Are you looking for the file on your PC or you looking to download a new copy of the file? If its the first, for me its in C:\Program Files\MDSC2, if you're looking for a copy of the file I wish you luck o.o. I just reinstalled the drivers for my kids sakar camera from the manufacturers website and it included the transtwain driver in it....so I'd try that? :D
