You can see in the menu the video support read by the player. also in the front panel of the unit their is a tag what format can accept like divx or mpeg etc.

Yes it's possible to use the USB port , you only have to change settings in TV setup to change it.
With software ver 3.15 it's very easy see link below how to change setup.

You need to activate it first, here are the steps:
1. Press the enter(OK) both on the remote and the TV at the same time...hold for about 5 seconds
2. Password - 0000
3. Go to tool option 3
4. Change Jpeg to 1
5. Change Divx to SD or HD
6. Exit and try it out.
You will notice that now there are 8 inputs in the option list instead of 6 - Including a USB input.

The solution is very easy, format your usb drive to NTFS and go on.... FAT file system have that problem, it not copy big files....

First, try using a different USB stick. If that doesn't fix the problem then your new tv is either faulty or the tv operating system has a bug.
Check the LG website in your country to see whether there are any firmware updates available. If not, then return the tv for refund or exchange, but make sure to try your USB drive on any replacement set in store as it's highly likely to be a bug in your model which will affect all of the other examples as well.
