Hit the the speakers A/B/Off button on the receiver. If you plugged the front channels speaker wire next to the center channel on the back of the receiver make sure its showing B. If you plugged them in the banana plug part, make sure its showing A.
Had same problem, front speakers not working. Found that my audio input cable was pulled out some. It looked ok but when I pushed on it, it went in more and it solved the problem.

The system would have hung up. Please remove the power and leave the set aside for over 6 hours so that the processor will reset if there was any error that have crept into while it was powered . Also remove and reset all the speakers, if possible with an individual test on each- use a 1.5 V AA cell-. The amplifer can also be reset if there is a note in your manual.

take amp to a workbench, have a test speaker in hand, touch the speaker wires to each channel to see if all channels work. take each speaker to the amp and temporarily hook one at a time to see if any speaker is bad. if you eliminate the hardware, you know it's the wires in between.
