I know that with the older bosch radio's PB 10-CD there are two internal fuses that 250V 2AMP. You have to remove four allen screws on the front of Bosch powerbox and then remove the four phillips screws one on each side. This will allow front of radio to be pulled out about 5 inches witch will give you enough access to check/change fuses. Fuses are held in place with plastic cover that has one small phillips screw holding it in place. Hope this helps

tip

Delco Radio displays and climate control displays remain dark, all GM

Symptom is radio diplay or controls don't light up, Delco CD radio's and Bose preminum sound radio/CD players. Models all GM cars and trucks 1990's to presnt.
This problem is caused by two tiny burnt out bulbs behind the LCD display thay are soldered to the circuit board behind the radio LCD display and can be replaced, this requires the radio be removed and the housing taken off and the front display un-clipped, you will need a low temperature solder pencil and thin strand solder the bulbs are available from Radio Shack, the part number is 272-1092, this is a 2 pack of miniature 12 Volt 60Ma bulbs. This radio display bulb is used in may car models, this bulb also repairs climate control displays as well as other low light displays like switches

How to set and remove alarm set

Turning on/off the alarms

To turn alarm 1 on/off, follow these steps:
  1. Turn the system off
  2. On the radio, repeatedly press the Alarm Mode button until the desired alarm mode indicator below "Alarm" is displayed. The music note indicates radio and the sound waves indicate the alarm tone. If no icons appear on the display, that means the alarm is turned off

I have lost my radio code for my ford can you help.

Late Four Digit Ford Radio Codes (no SELECT button) ie. Ford 3000 Traffic, 4000RDS, 5000RDS, 6000RDS, 6006E, etc Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press button 5 to enter. If "LOCK 10" is shown on the display, please contact us for guidance. If the display shows "LOCK 13" code entry will not be possible, and the unit will need to be electronically decoded by a car radio servicing specialist. Early Four Digit Ford Radio Codes (units with SELECT button) ie. Ford 2005, 2006, 2015, etc Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display. If CODE does not appear immediately, press the SELECT button momentarily, and CODE should then appear on the display. Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press the "SELECT" button to enter. Three Digit Ford Radio Codes ie. Ford 2000, 2001, 2005, 2007, etc Switch the radio on and the word CODE followed by three dashes should appear in the display. These three dashes should be flashing. Enter the three digit code by repeatedly pressing station presets 1-3 until each digit is correctly displayed, followed by preset 4 to accept the code. The unit should then function normally. If, after switching the radio on, the three dashes do not flash, then 3 or more incorrect code entries have been attempted. If a number 10 appears in the display, then ten incorrect codes have been tried and the unit will need to be decoded by a car radio servicing specialist.

Display hard to read

My radio was dropped and parts of the display disappeared, but the display did not break. Unless you have some background in radio repair, DO NOT attempt this repair! If you do, it is at your risk, or the risk of damaging your radio! I disassembled the radio and found the display. There are 2 "rubber strips" that fit next to the LCD. I cleaned and reseated the strips and display about 3 times before getting it right. AGAIN, unless you know what you are doing, and can solder on circuit boards with a proper pencil iron, don't even contemplate it! Let someone who can do it.
