The tap is the dial on the left turn it, then it will turn the tap off. If it is repeating this then it may need to be decalcified.

SOURCE: Jura Impressa E fails to dispense, then gives "open tap" message

I had the same problem, when I called their very helpful customer service, I was given these directions.
Take out the tray.
Inside the machine you can now see a flap hanging from the top.
Reach behind the flap, and you should feel a round object/filter. It has a little dimple sticking out in the middle.
Wipe the filter with a paper towel.
Put the machine back together, and voila you got your coffee brewing again.

SOURCE: I can't get past the 'open tap'/'close tap prompts on my Impressa

I had this problem with my Ena 3. The difference was that water was actually passing through the nozzle, but when I turned the dial back to the coffee symbol it would just tell me to open the tap again.

The solution was simple thanks to bergend's post, although I'd never have thought of it independently. I emptied the water tank and filled it back up with luke warm water instead of the cold water I had been using. After the first "system filling" round, the machine continued with the setup program fine.

So, to others with this problem: don't use too cold water in the tank for the first setup, even though the manual tells you to. Luke warm works great.

SOURCE: When turned on it will prompt "Open Tap" "Close Tab"

There are two possible causes. One is easy the other is hard. So try the easy one first. Remove the grinds tray completely, and place you hand in the cavity that it normally takes up. moving you hand slowly in, feel towards the top. you will find a little flap, past that flap there is the tamper and coffee filter at a slight angle. This may be blocked, so clean with a cloth.
If that does not solve the problem (and 90% of the time it does) then you may have a small spec of dust that is stuck in the water system, this needs to be flushed and cleaned. The best place to do that is with a Jura approved center. Unless you are technically minded. Your local Jura chaps sound like they need a k!$k up their behind

SOURCE: Jura Impressa F50 - tray - fault 8

Hi, if you havn't already solved this one, it has been caused by pulling the drip tray/ dump box out while the brew unit was still active. Switch off the machine and insert the drip tray without the dump box. Turn the machine back on and the brew unit should re align itself.

HI I just bought a Juki. DDL-555-5 with cpu Juki MC210 and the machine work prefectly but CPU box is not working just type 0 on memory,How do I should fix it? I put a picture for more understanding.

Start out by making sure all your cords that run from the cpu down to the motor are plugged in tightly. Sometimes when you move it from place to place, they become unplugged slightly.
Did you test the machine at the place where you bought it before you purchased it? If not, it may not have been working before you bought it.
The machine working is mechanical and is independent of the computer for the most part. If the computer is bad, it will take a mechanic to fix it and some of those parts are no longer available, Whether the computer is bad or not, the machine should continue to work fine as long as you keep clean oil in the reservoir. Did it come with a regular knee lift on the machine? If not, and if the computer goes bad, you can put a knee lift on the machine and still use it as a good machine. Good Luck!

Rotary hook machines

Yes it is a rotary machine. The foot you bought may not be the correct one for your machine. Mostly all machines are now horizontal rotary hook machines, but they don't necessarily fit ALL of those machines, it may be for a certain brand of machine.

Best bet is to bring your machine when you buy a foot so you can try it out.

Suddenly LS-2000 stopped working, just a month back we bought it. Even the bulb is not glowing, please someone help me with this..

Take it back to the store, get a replacement. If it is under warranty you don't want to be futzing about inside. Just go get another one.
