Out of Paper

Each time I try and Print the Out of Paper message comes up. I have tried cleaning , unplugging and reinstalling printer several times. I have also used different paper thicknesses. Any suggestions.

If you look down the gap where the paper is fed, viewed from the front of the machine, you will see on the right hand side, down in the depths a roller, probably grey. this roller grips the paper when a print is requested, and feeds it to the mechanics below. If it doesn't the paper doesn't move and a paper feed error is issued, try cleaning the roller,or replace.

It sounds like your paper sensor is defaulting, or you could have foreign material blocking the paper from loading so the paper sensor can pick it up. Check out this first and repost if not the problem. Thoroughly check inside unit and down the back for blockages or debris.
