I am having HP Compaq nx7300 with windows XP service pack 2 installed in it. I formated it recently and now while trying to install its Audio driver SoundMAX its showing the error "HDA bus driver required and not found" Also in Device Manager their is a Yellow questionmark on PCI bus and its unable to update the driver.

you must to get the spesific driver for your product of modl notebooks in Compaq website .. may be that driver is not completable with the hardware of product !!
