Unplug the machine and try again. Sometimes resetting the board can solve the problems, other times it's just a faulty board. Good luck

For the model you have it listed under. Ther are screws on each side of the drawer panel. Remove the screws and slide the panel down and off.

Dishwasher Repair Guide: How To Fix a Dishwasher - ACME HOW TO.com
http://www.fisherpaykelparts.net/ecart/item.php?item_id=244
sounds to me as though you have a main controller or indeed some sensor has failed, with this symptom is it a bit hard to exactly pin it down.. The best thing to do if you wish to DIY, is obtain a service and repair manual, and work through the troubleshooting steps to isolate your issue with a view to repair, also the SM has parts numbers too.
The below may NOT apply to you... however it has helped many many times...so if you think it is worth a try... give it a go.. nothing to loose?
so your dishwasher won't do anything... it justs sits there and "Hums" you can't make it respond to any controls, and the ONLY way to Stop it. is to unplug the unit, replugging back in it simply "Hums" again and will do nothing.
Now this happens because, the STOP Button, is pressed and the "Door Opened", during the Wash Cycle. This should NOT be done. You should NEVER TURN IT OFF MID-CYCLE. you should instead, Simply, pull on the handle, to Open the door, the system will take care of everything, after, you close it,and pick up where it left off. The turning OFF, makes the machine "Think" that a New Cycle, is going to be done, before the old one is finished, and resets itself to do it all again. But it still has water, that's not meant to be there so it must dump it out.
Now, the FIX. Take the Dishwasher, out, and tip over on it's side, tip to about a 45' angle. Water will come out from underneath, this is from a small "Overflow" reservoir. this reservoir has an "Anti-Flood" switch. The removing of this water will "Reset" this Switch, and allow the dishwasher to work again.
So what happens, is this, when the STOP button is pressed Mid-Cycle, the machine must "Dump" whatever water is still in the machine, into the "Overflow Reservoir". This water then causes the Anti-flood switch to jam, and this stops the machine, until it is reset,by the above method.

I have a dd603 double drawer by fisher and Paykel. After I start a normal washing, 5 minutes later its beeping with a symbol of a faucet with a circle and a line through it and its setting has changed to...

Here is a suggestion: First turn the breaker for the dishwasher off for a minute or so then turn it back on. This will reset the controls. After that you should be able to select the cycle you want. Now for information on top drawer acting crazy. I had problems with the top drawer on a model 603I, I found that the control board under the drawer cover (at the upper right corner) had a broken latch. This allowed the control board assembly to drop down at the right side which caused the electronic eyes at the side of the drawer to become misaligned. This was giving false information to the control board indicating that the drawer wasn't closed properly. My problem was fixed by securing the control board back in place making sure the electronic eyes were lined up properly. (Note: The electronic eyes I am referring to include two clear plastic tubes about an inch and a half long to the right of the control board. These tubes must be properly lined up with the led and photocell on the side of the control board) It sounds complicated but if you take the drawer cover off you will notice the control board alignment immediately. Its an easy fix if this is your problem. One way to fix it is to take a piece of string and tie the board back in place. (That's what I fixed mine with and it has worked like new ever since.) NOTE: MAKE SURE THE POWER IS TURNED OFF BEFORE YOU BEGIN THIS REPAIR! suggestion:

First thing to do is to take a clean damp cloth and lightly wipe the grime off the drawer lid especially on top of the membrane keys.

Wonder how often it has gone into this blinking red state.

Not sure if you have fixed this problem yet. If it is happening only in one drawer then get a clean damp cloth and clean the key pad inside the top right of the door. Also clean the edges as well.

If the other drawer is OK, then you could try to take the display module out from it and try on the faulty drawer. Be careful to mark the connector orientation so that you don't insert it incorrectly and damage the display or the controller. If it works properly then the display is faulty. If problem still exists then the controller is faulty.

Programming

Your dishwasher drawer appears to have got stuck in some sort of a diagnostic mode. The 3 lights are a code telling which diagnostic it is in.

I am assuming you have turned off and on at the mains power and it makes no difference.

I need to check a few things with you first, but I am assuming the controller is not looking good. The easiest way to confirm this is take the controller from the top one and try it below. But you need to feel comfortable doing it.

Let me know if you want to call a technician or do it yourself.

Haveing a u3 code on my top draw of my fisher & paykel any help on this

First have the unit turned off. Then open up the drawer that,s giving you trouble.
The badge ought to be lit.
Now simultaneously press the static touch pads on each end of the led status lites (the ones on the drawer top?) (Cycle Select, and Eco-sensor pads)
Hold them for about 5 seconds. Now If you have a metal front machine, the badge display will either show HP or LP. Assuming you have normal water pressure about 50 - 70 psi you want to select the HP setting.
Do that by pressing the start button till you get what you want, then press power off to lock the setting in.

Dishwasher stopped working. Suspect electronics issue.

An expert from another site says it's a faulty control panel and may need new actuators.
