Before starting to search for a replacement board do the following steps:
1-take out the batteries.
2-wash your board with water and a little detergent using a tooth brush.
3- use a hair dryer to dry your board .
4- leave your board in a warm place(preferably in sunshine) for a few days to make sure that no moisture is left on the board.
After you have done all this you may find your mic working normally .If your mic is still not working ,using a magnifying glass search for loose solder joints.
hope this helps you.

SOURCE: No sound comes out of the mic....

there's not really any way to tell whats wrong with it apart from it seems to be damaged internally.. if you have the receipt and its still under warranty i'd take it back and not mention the drop!

SOURCE: Entertech mic ed-9000--Mic stopped working

Could be the wiring in the RCA cable.
Swinging mike to and fro can wear through the power wiring inside the cable.
I'm on my 3rd cable.
Manufacturers have said they recognise this is a common fault with product but it seems they are not taking any steps to rectify.
I found that using the mike with batteries sometimes works.
If you get a new cable may be a good idea to reinforce the top 12 - 18 inches of the cable to avoid same problem in future.

Built in mic not working

It looks like you installed a program (one that uses audio) that uses different settings for audio. If this is the case; go into that program and go to preferences or advanced settings etc and disable the audio and change it to default audio.

If not let me know :)

No mic audio

Hi
cordless mics consist of the following parts:
mic capsule- audio and copression amp- Xtall and RF section.
In your case RF is ok. Test mic capsule ( using an audio amp or simply connect it momentarily to a 1.5 vollt battery and listen for a "khesh" noise from your capsule. If your mic capsule is ok your amp and compressor section is either damaged due to a reverse battery connection or you have " cold solder joints" on or around the audio amp. E mail me if you want further information at: [email protected]

Sennheiser ew 100 G2 cordless mic shuts off, low batt signal flashes , when fresh batteries are used. batteries inside mic heat up & get hot!

Heating up on replacing batteries is an indication of a short circuit. The construction of these cordless mic does not allow one to do any kind of repair. You will have to replace the whole circuit board which is available only with the authorized service center. And might cost you 70% the cost of the mic itself.

My nokia 6300 mic doesnt work i tried replacing it but it still doesnt work. What can i do

the fault is probably coming from the board and might need replacement so as to enable the mic work properly. you can take it to a repairer to fix or change the board. on the other hand, it could be that the new mic was also faulty.
the best thing to do is to take both your phone and the mic to a qualified repairer and see if he helps.
hope this helped you?

Front panel Mic not working when connected to Mother Board

Yeah, sounds like the case wasn't designed for that board. Just carefully double check the pins in the manual for the board. If you don't have the manual, check the asus site.

Panasonic dvx1000a has no audio input, for xlr connector, the switch line mic is in mic pos. and the external mic not work in that camera.

You have to switch the CH1 and CH2 switches inside the lcd display to input 1 or input 2 to control the xlr inputs. If these switches are in int (L) and int(R) position, then you are adjusting the audio on the CH1 ad CH2 dials below the lcd viewer on the outside of the lcd for the on camera mic. Only use line setting on the front of the camera when you are receiving an audio feed at line level from an audio board. If you set the camera to mic setting, and you are receiving a line level audio signal, you will blow out the audio 0 way too loud, if you are receiving a mic signal and your switch is set to line, you will not be able to hear the mic with the audio Ch1 and ch2 all the way up.

First off check to see if your mic gain is turned all the way down. Second; if you have a power mic is the battery dead ir the volume of the mic turned down. If these check ok, look for a loose or broken audio wire in your microphone, and the connector (both ends can break). I have seen the wires break as far back as 4 inches from the mic head and the connector depending on how the user held the microphone, or pulled against the wire. if the problem is not found to be any of the above I suggest you take the radio to a qualified technician for repair.

Vocal problem

hi there..if there is video and background audio coming out from the TV, and no voice recognition from the mic- then mic is the problem. I believed the problem is the "voice coil". This is a part that can be replaced- you can contact me and we can repair that.

two ways to check
remove the mic ball
the part which the mic ball is is covering is the voice coil.
try holding both terminals (black and white wire)- if there is feedback sound- it is open and need to be replaced
try using your tester- test the impedance- there should be 500- 600 ohms reading
