My son was playing with the DVD remote & now I don't see any picture, but sound is clear. Don't have the actual manual and hence don't know how to reset it with the remote. Any help will be appreciated. Regards

My son used Panasonic DVD player for better picture. I want to switch it to Koss KS4110 for using VCD and looking the picture slide show.
I do not have manual for KS4110. I connected red and white cables from TV resp. audio terminals. I do not know where to connect DVD/Y,DVD/ CR, and DVD/CB cables. I connected to Y CR/PR and CA/PA.
I get audio but no video at all.
Please some one tell me if the connection is wrong or the KS4110 is not working.
I used this unit previously for slide show as well as DVD, and VCD.
    Thanks.

I have a Koss DVD player KS4110, the sound is clear but there is absolutely no image. I tried the V.Select button, that didn't work and also unplugging it for 24 hrs did not work. I tested the wires and they work perfectly.

Any help would be enormously appreciated

    Thank you

I have a Koss KS4110 DVD Player and changed to display from NTSC to PAL not knowing that I wouldn't be able to revert the changes. I have no manual and have tried the "Select" button with CD tray opened and closed. I'm hoping there is a code that reset to Factory Default. Please Help!

I had the same problem last night. On the top row of the remote, just next to the red power switch is a button that says v.select. I pressed it and the image returned to the screen.

Good day!!!

Sorry but I can't see any previous questions from you to my email but anyways lets proceed to your problem..

If you are watching TV shows and the picture is ghosting kindly try to play a DVD movies or anything that having video on your DVD if the picture is fine when you play a DVD movies your TV is in good condition you don't have to worry about..If the picture is fine when you play a DVD let me know and I will give you next step of troubleshooting..

However if you play a DVD but still picture is ghosting there something wrong with your TV..

If you are using DVR then when you back to TV it become ghosting..It is possible that you hit the wrong button on remote..you can also try to restore factory settings to correct all possible wrong set up and also to to auto scan your TV to get back all channels clearly..

Hope it helps..

Whar channel should be on to play a DVD?

It depends on which input you have the DVD plugged into. The pictures below show the different inputs. One of those should match what you see on the back of your DVD. If you don't know which, you can turn on your DVD player and hit the INPUTS button shown on the picture of the remote control shown below. Or, if it's connected to one of the inputs pointed to by the DIRECT SELECT arrow on the picture of the remote control, you can go there directly from watching the TV. phillip_d971_1.jpgphillip_d971_2.jpg

RX-V465 Yamaha Reciver we can get picture but no sound w/PS3

Check HDMI Sound settings:
Enter Setup menu via remote, then Func. Setup / HDMI / Audio. You can choose from Amp (sound will be played via Yamaha), TV (sound will go straight via HDMI out to your TV and not play on Yamaha) and Amp+TV (Yamaha will play the sound and also pass it to the TV).
Also what is your source? DVD or some network player? For example Yamaha cannot decode audio in AAC or other computer formats, so be sure to change the audio settings of your player to output PCM and not raw/bitstream.
