The tv shows the red light when plugged in. When turning on set... the red light flickers from red to blue, red to blue, red to blue while holding power button. When you release it, it goes back to red. The unit will not power on. Any ideas?

Same problem here. There is a blurb on page 18 of the owners manual that talks about the fuse that protects the tv from a power surge. If the fuse is blown, the TV won't power up.
I haven't checked mine yet. The tv just started acting up. If and when I pull it off the wall, disconnect all the cables, pry off the cover from where the fuse is located, I'll re-post with my findings.
Just curious if a blown fuse resolved anybody else's problem??

I recently fixed my 955 headphones... it's probably not going to be attempted by most folks, but it saved a great set of headphones from being tossed and replaced.
Basically you need to remove the right side padding and take out the 3 screws. This gets you access to the battery. The battery is a standard 3.6V lithium battery. Pretty much the same that is in most cell phones and many small toys. You can simply replace the battery with something like: http://dx.com/s/3.7v+li
Or... here's what I did... add a lithium USB charger to the battery. http://dx.com/s/li+arduino Now, if the battery dies I can plug it into USB and the phone will work while it charges.
It sounds like you need a new power supply, You and find one on amazon around $14 too $18 dollars maybe less, if that not your issue then it's going to be a fuse but since you can see the light it should be the power supply.
The power supply board was having problems before. That the board, where the power a/c cord plug into it Now might also the Tuner board are dead too.The tv Tuner board, that the board where the tv broscast signal cable plug into it.That the Tuner board.Tries Websites like shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement to see if solved the problem, not probally will have to buy the refurbish Tuner board for the replacement too.
1. Turn
off the PS3 so it only shows a red light. You can hold the power button
on the front until it goes into standby. To be sure, flick the power
switch on the back of the Play Station 3 off and then back on.
2.
Make sure your Play Station 3 is connected to your regular TV (not
HDTV) with the standard video cables.
3. Press and hold the power
button until the screen "flickers" and then immediately release. This
should reset the video settings.
4. Wait a few seconds, and the
Play Station 3 (PS3) logo should appear.
If this does not resolve
the problem, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the PS3 so it only
shows a red light. You can hold the power button on the front until it
goes into standby. To be sure, flick the power switch on the back of the

2. Make sure your Play
Station 3 is connected to your regular TV (not HDTV) with the standard
video cables.
3. Press and hold the power button on the front
until the Play Station 3 beeps and then turns off again. This should
reset the video for you and you can turn it back on after this.
