The screen turns white is because the screen is a liquid crystal display and it can not exceed certain tempurature drop. If it gets too cold it will crack.

Did your phone drop on the flow? Is it just showing white and still works ?or Display white screen and not working?

For a phone to display a white, does questions need to be answered..

If it fell on the flow it's usually a screen fault and it needs to be replaced.

If it didn't fall down, but displays white screen and nothing function,it a software faulty needs a memory restoring..

If just showing white screen and you still can make calls with it, then it's screen fault needs to replace..

There might be a Flex cable that disconnected in the phone, you will need to bring it to a cell phone shop or apple to have a look at it.

This is not something that can be fixed at home. You need to take the phone to a store and have a technician take a look at it. The phone may need to be replaced completely as it may have damaged hardware or corrupted software.

As a general note - phones do not have "video cards" in the same way that your computer does.

have the LCD/screen replace...take it to a mobile tech and have that done.

Hello, Your phone's display is operated by 2 separate wire ribbons. One of them sends data to the display's matrix and the other one powers the led backlight. A display doesn't produce light on it's own so instead it utilises some white led's to light up. What you see on the display are actually those led's lighting up from under the display. I supose your problem is with the display connector. However the phone must be dissasembled and the display connector must be checked. In order to do this you will need some T5-T6 screwdrivers (they can be found at most radioshacks or electronics store). Locate the display's connectors and with the phone opened, try to move them around a bit to see if something is showing on the display. Also check all the connectors on the phone mainboard for cracks or other defects. I'm sorry for I can't help you more with this on a simple chat. If you have any questions however, please ask and I will try to guide you through this process.

My Solution: Heat it up by just sitting on it or holding it in your hands// Take the battery out and back in/ Try keeping the battery out of it for a full day
My Story :) My mom dropped the phone in the dishes because she was drunk haha, I quickly took out the battery, but when the next day came by I looked at the phone and saw the same problem everyone here has. I kept replacing the battery on the hope it would just magically fix itself. Now 2 days from when it dropped in water, I kept flipping it, replaced the battery again (just taking it out and back in) after I sat on it a while, possibly the heat somehow helped it to work again.. I'm amazed it works haha, it was in the water fully submerged for half a min when I had to snatch it out of the dishes But, it is most likely that I took the battery out, the battery is the thing that ruins electronics, just remember to take it out if you drop it in water. Good luck. If worst comes to worst and your going to buy a new phone, maybe try using a blow dryer on it for a little bit **or just do this in the first place**
