Will this heat up at all. Is it the same Model # as the one you .have some changes from the one you have for 2 years ago might have been made. check model # and make sure it is the same The light that go's out might be when the unit come up to the setting you put you Thermostat on meaning it heated up and will come back on when the temp drops and it starts to heat back up. it's that simple. if you just got this unit it should work if you turn the heating setting up . Let me know if the unit heats that is the starting point.
I HAVE A DEEP FRYER EURO # F 1068 WHICH HAS BEEN USED VERY SPARINGLY SINCE PURCHASED APPROX. 2 YEARS AGO. YESTERDAY I PLUGGED SAME IN AND THE ENTIRE HEATING UNIT FAILED COMPLETELY, DEADER THAN A DOORNAIL, DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY ?? CAN THIS UNIT BE REPLACED IF SO WHERE AND HOW DO I GET REPLACEMENT.

I don't service home models, only commercial products, however I would guess that something got wet somehow? Let it dry out for a few days and even a week or so, and then try it. If not, I would junk it and buy another... Susan REO
