Question about Sony HT-DDW670 System

1 Answer

Low volume Hi. I have a dvd player (Phillips DVP5100K), and when I play music in it the home theatre has a normal volume, but when I play a DVD or DVDRip movie the sound is extremely low. I have to set the volume in 50 (the top is 70) to hear something. I tried almost anything, what should I do?. Thank you.

Im trying to play my iphone music on my home theatre system with ipod dock and my phone just says accessory connected. how do i make it play?

First, if iPod (from your iPhone) doesn't play automatically, you should open it and play the song you wanna hear.

After that, make sure you selected the "Dock" from your home theatre system to make sure that it'll be producing the sound coming from your dock and not from your TV or blu-ray/DVD player or gaming consoles.

And finally, make sure the volume is loud enough for you to hear your songs.

Audiovox VD1400HT Home Theatre System. Volume of radio too loud. If Radio is set at 7 it is very loud, but a DVD requires at least 25 before you can hear it.

that is normal. different sources have different output levels.. increase volume at dvd player will also increase volume of you home theater..

cheers!

Unable to get play dvd or get picture on DVD channell on tv

If the player is doing that for all DVDs but playing CDs properly, the player has gone bad due to either the laser and lens being out of whack or the DVD drive just doesn't recognise DVDs anymore and needs repaired or replaced.

Sorry. Best of luck.
