Question about Samsung HP-P4271 42 in. HD-Ready Plasma Television
I had this problem as well. I tried adjusting the voltage, but it only caused different color problems.
If you using HDMI, try checking your HDMI connection. I found that by I could simply "jiggle" (yes, that the technical term..he he) the HDMI cable around - while the cable was fully/completely attached to the TV - until I found a position where the color issues went away.
Now, the only problem is that I have to go and "adjust" the HDMI cable from time to time as the cable seems to shift over time. I'm thinking there is a problem with the HDMI input board on my tv (42" plasma - HP-S4253). But, since I'm over 3 months out of warranty, I'm not about to shell out big bucks for a new board. I can live with adjusting the cable from time to time.

This is usually caused by an over voltage on one of the panel voltages, if you open up the set and look at the panel you will find a sticker with the panel voltages on it, if you adjust the VS voltage down about 10 volts it will go away, if it doesn't the adjust the Vscan voltage down about 5-10 volt
