You will also need to use the motorola software that came on a cd rom with the phone, otherwise click on the link to download. after that it's a cae of locating you files and clicking the pc to phone icon. http://direct.motorola.com/ENG/SoftwareUpdateSummary.asp?country=GBR&language=ENG&web_page_name=SUPPORT&strCarrierId=&strPhone=RAZR%20V3i&strCable=Mini%20USB%20Data%20Cable

Hi all, you might also want to try using a memory card reader to down/upload files to/from your PC from/to your phone memory. In the absence of a reader, plugging in your phone's usb connection to your PC there would be an additional drive, check/click on your My Computer and should show as a removal drive, that is your phone memory, then you can up/download files. This is better explained in your phone's user manual page 29. A copy is also available online at http://www.motorola.com/Hellomoto/Master%20Lists/Product%20Manuals/Static%20Files/IN-EN/30361_1020_ENG.pdf. Hope this work out for you. Regards.

Hi, I cant see the songs when I am using the usb

Unplug the phone, then go to the phone's setup menu.
under "Connections" select the USB connection, and make sure it's set to USB storage, not "USB serial" or "USB modem"

I've got a V3xx, so my menu options might not be exactly the same as yours, but they should be close.

Once that's set, reconnect the USB cable and it should show up like any other USB flash drive.

Motorola RAZR V3i Cellular... Problem

I had to go in Itunes and reauthorize my computer. I guess when Itunes gets updated it unauthorizes your phone. As soon as I authorized my computer on Itunes again, it automatically recognized it and everything went beautifully.
