For some reason my palm now only uses part of the screen for the main menu and most software. However, it does still let me show slideshow fullscreen photos. With the limited screen usage, I can no longer use the handy tap buttons on the bottom of the screen. What do I do? how do I get the full screen back?
Hi, i have as well a palm TX, have you already try with the reset button at the back?..if yes and the problem has not resolved, ill recomend you to try to hotsync your palm with your computer and then format the PDA, you can do this by holding the reset button and the power button at the same time and then release them when the formating screen is on.

If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, hold the Ctrl button down on you keyboard and use the mouse's scroll wheel to increase or decrease the screen zoom. Another way is to use the web browser's zoom function normally located under Tools in the main menu.
1) First try to go into the control panel under display and try a different resolution. Or try to adjust the display on the actual monitor. If this does not help try Starting the Last Know Good Configuration.
2) The Last Known Good Configuration feature is a recovery option that you
can use to start your computer by using the most recent settings that
worked. The Last Known Good Configuration feature restores registry
information and driver settings that were in effect the last time the
computer started successfully. Use the Last Known Good Configuration
feature when you cannot start Windows XP after you make a change to
your computer, or when you suspect that a change that you just made may
cause a problem.
How to start your computer by using the Last Known Good Configuration feature
To start your computer by using the Last Known Good Configuration feature, follow these steps:
Start your computer.
When you see the "Please select the operating system to start" message, press the F8 key.
When the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, use the ARROW keys to select Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked), and then press ENTER.
If you are running other operating systems on your computer, use the ARROW keys to select Microsoft Windows XP, and then press ENTER.
Control Panel->System->Hardware->Device Manager. Select Display Adapters and uninstall it. Then Ask Windows to scan for new HW. Let it detect and install the display adapter.
If this does not work then select Monitor and uninstall it. Make Windows detect the monitor and install it.
from the main phone screen, push the menu button --> options --> phone display options--> where is says show dial pad, the other choice on the drop down menu is show wallpaper, then click the picture to the right, and any picture you have in your phone you can use as a wallpaper for the main screen.
Try using the 'degauss' option of your monitor. It should be in the on screen menu, or possibly a reserved button for it. If not, you may have the options in your menu for the monitor to adjust the shape of the screen manually, you'll just have to go through the menues carefully using the various buttons on your monitor. If nothing fixes it, I would just replace the unit, as repairing it would likely cost more than buying a new one.
