Bios password reset

I have got a password for bios and i have forgot it. How can i remove or reset it?

The only way to reset a bios password is to locate either the cmos battery on the motherboard which can be difficult or locate pins CLRCMOS, JBAT1 or similair and short the pins.

Sorry locate cmos battery and remove for 2 mins or so then replace.

Go to your friend. Download and burn this cd http://www.9down.com/Hiren-s-BootCD-9-8-Keyboard-Patch-73110/
Boot your pc from it by pressing F9 or F12 and use BIOS / CMOS Tools from it.

Take out the battery for longer. It seemed to reset by indication of checksum error, but for an odd reason its still passworded. Remove battery and this time short the battery contacts on the motherboard and make sure no power or battery is in the machine. Then replace the battery and give it a shot.

Hello, If you forgot your BIOS password,do not worry, you can reset your system back without requesting a BIOS password,Simply unscrew your laptop and get the motherboard of your laptop, locate the CMOS battery on the motherboard and remove for sometime for the battery to discharge say 4-10minutes,or better still if you can locate the jumpers for the BIOS and reset it,the BIOS password will be removed.It is the battery that keeps the BIOS chip alive by suppling it power,if power is not supplied to this chip,then the information on it will be lost. So, remove the battery for some minutes or reset your BIOS jumper on the motherboard WISH YOU THE BEST.

simple open cabinet of cpu then remove litheum battery of emachie. restart the machiche with battery the password will reset.

Open your CPU cabinet after switching OFF the power and then try to locate the CPU battery which can be found very easily. Once you locate your battery you need to remove it once and restart your PC without the battery.

Note : Once you remove your battery from the mother board, you will find that all your time settings in your computer would be lost, and some softwares may stop working which are based on your computer time.
