I Need the Creative labs INC VF 0040 Driver S/W. Please guide me

You may want to download the driver from the Creative support site. Just go to support.creative.com. Select your product, in this case it's the VF-0040 then select the driver that is compatible with your webcam.

To install the driver

Download the LCNP_PCDRV_LA_0400_1_05_03.exe file onto your local hard disk.

Double-click the downloaded file.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

If no driver is available try using the older OS software in Compatibility Mode
Right click on the webcam icon on your desktop or the webcam file from 'All Programs' - select 'Properties'
Select the 'Compatibility' tab
Select 'Compatibility Mode'
Use the dropbox to show the OS
Click OK
Restart your computer

On Creative website, there was no pruduct listed as vf-0040. But I have found one with model number VF0400.

i have a camera identical, need to download WEBCAM live PRO driver from Creative Labs - Australia,

technical support, downloads, you will have three boxes , first click WEBCAMERAS, next click WEBCAM then WEBCAM Live! Pro.

save this to desktop and when it finishes just click on the icon and accept the license agreement and off it goes, make sure your web cam is not plugged in until the driver installation completes, windos xp will automatically tell you when it has installed the new camera.
