Product motor failure

The Health Master 100 blender motor is not working anymore. It is just making sounds but not spinning at all. How can I get this resolved because there is a lifetime warranty on the product.

After about a dozen uses, the motor on my Health Master 100 went out. I am unable to get a response from the manufacturer, and this product was listed as a 100 year warranty on the motor (one of the reasons why I purchased it).

Take your motor to a small appliance repairman. It might be something very simple that failed like a loose wire...then follow my tips below..................
------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been thru the fire about this! I sent my Healthmaster in recd another and it failed also. Almost always..it is the bearing that fails in the caraffe that supports the blade. The bearings that Jack Lalanne had installed in China..were not sealed...so they would allow water to enter corrode and eventually all of your blenders contents would come out thru the bottom! Or another thing that can happen is your blade will freeze up due to corrosion....and become immovable.
Jack Lalanne healthmaster is out of business. I manged to get a refund from Tristar..lalannes distributor..BECAUSE they authorized me sending my belnder back for a new one...and then they cashed my shipping check and then threw out my blender!!!!! I also had to call for weeks till I drove Tristar insane...so they ponied up the dough
So I doubt you can receive any money.
But this is what you CAN do!
1) If your motor functions well..you can buy a new carafe for 45 dollars or so from Cooking toys ( google cooking toys and it should come up)
2) OR if your cheap like me...and your blade doesnt rotate easily due to corrosion and your caraffe isnt leaking much...put a couple drops of oil on the outter rim of the bearing ( That would be located directly on the bottom of the outside of the caraffe..it surrounds the knurled metal part that is inserted in the motor for blending.
My blade was corroded and leaking a tiny bit..I put some olive oil on the bearing and it worked great! I have been able to use my caraffe for a month now...when I expected to have to buy a new one from "Cooking Toys" Which I will do if this one fails.
3) If you buy a new caraffe form cooking toys..my advice? OIL THE BEARING WITH A LITTLE OIL...(any kind of vegetable oil) AFTER EACH TIME YOU USE IT! I SUSPECT IT WILL LAST INDEFINITELY>>>BUT TIME WILL TELL!

I wish I could tell you a definite solution. Have you tried calling 973-575-5400 (ext 129)? I realize it isn't toll-free. According to several web sites, the manufacturer has discontinued the product, but they should definitely still be supporting the motor warranty.

Mine is eating the bearing in the bottom of the pitcher. That seems to be everyone's most frequent problem although mine hasn't actually started to leak yet. The motor is just fine. I suspect Jack Lalanne started getting complaints about the pitcher bearing and dropped his support for the product because of that.

My Jack Lalannen health master leaks. Don"t know how to fix it.

You did not specify where the leak is coming from, so I can only guess and my guess is the base. Assemble gasket first, then blade plate and then base retainer. You can tighten the base tighter while the unit is on the motor base. the motor base will let you get it slightly tighter.

The bottom of my Jack LaLanne Health Master 100 jar disintegrated. The metal sheared into sharp slices and the entire bottom rusted, spewing rust flakes onto everything. I sent the jar to TRISTAR-the...

Yes Ive been thru this...I recd a refund due to luck.
You can buy a new caraffe at Cooking toys..for 45 bucks.

If your motor is working...just oil the bottom of the caraffe each time you use it! It shoudl keep it going for a long time.
What I mean by oil teh bottom..Is ...oil with any vegetable oil....the rim of the bearing on the outside of the caraffe..it surrounds the metal knurled piece that is inserted into teh motor each time you blend.

Health Master 100 - blade came off

Jack Lalanne is out of the blender business. The bearing that surrounds the Knurled piece that you insert in the motor each time you blend are not "sealed" so consequently water gets in there and causes them to fail.
They only thing you can do...is to buy a new caraffe from Cooking Toys ...google it...
It will cost you 45 bucks plus shipping dont buy any extras!
After you receive it BE SURE to oil ( a couple drops will do)the bearing that surrounds the knurled piece that is inserted into the motor each time you blend. Inthis way the unseale dbearing will remain lubricated and will last you awhile. Mine became frozen and I was able to un freeze it and my bleender works fine now for months! An dI use it 3 times a day! I expect I will have to buy a new caraffe..in the future because of corrosion...that I could have prevented with oil.

Jack La Lanne's Health Master 100

First determine..if it is indeed the motor that is fried. Do this by not using the caraffe. Plug in the motor and run it by itself. If it runs fine without smoking again..It is the caraffe that is defective.
If its the motor you are out of luck completely. Jack Lalanne is out of business.
If it is the caraffe..which I suspect it is not...oil the rim of the bearing that is on the outside of your caraffe ..it surrounds the knurled part that is inserted into the blender...even if you are able to get the motor repaired..get in the habit of oiling the caraffe bearing after each time you use it. If you dont it will fail within months to a year of use
Lalanne had they made in China..and using unsealed bearinga that rust out and the contents of the blender come out!! So I discovere dthat oiling that part each time after use..keeps my blender running smoothly.
You might want to take yoru motor to a small appliance repairman..he might find something simple happened.. like a loose wire connection inside! If he does...you have a simple solution and a motor that works!
Remember to oil the bearing a couple drops each time after use...and if yoru caraffe ever fails you can buy a new one..( Oil that one too!) at Cooking Toys..you can google for the address
