Question about Maytag MAH6500 Neptune Front Loading Washer w/Built in Water Heater
I think that you have a faulty motor. Are there any visible cracks in the stator? The rotor position sensor could also be faulty.

We have the Maytag front load washer Model MAH4000AWW
Ours will not go into the spin cycle. Any solutions would be
greatly appreciated.
i had the same problem with one that i bought and i ended up replacing the unbalance switch in it and now it spins great like it shouldk before it would act like it wanted to go and then stop and then repeat the same thing and then it would try to take off for about 10 sec or so and then die back down i replaced that switch and now it takes off like a champ.. only problem is that water is leaking out the front and i have some kind of noise coming from it that sounds to me like humming and its annoying and water leaking out the front on the floor not excessively but enough.. im assuming that would have something to do with the wax motor. I would try replacing that switch it is in between the drum and the casing of the washer on the right hand side. it was a 20 dollar part. just a suggestion i think these things arent worth it u fix it just to fix it again
