My tv has always worked fine, but today it suddenly got a LIGHT not dark pink or reddish tinted screen when i go to a blank channel that usually gives me a black screen i can see warped lines, ITS NOT the convergence or picture settings, PLEASE HELP!!! Can i fix it myself because a repair center is not an option!!!
Not so sure if warped lines about it not being convergence, if the lines are diagonal and light red etc it may be a screen circuit issue. Hard to tell from description----take a few good photos and post them on a free photo sharing site and provide a link here---expert who sees what it looks like may be able to help...............

This is an indicates what is know as convergence problem...this could also be what is know as deflection problem... have a technician look at it.
SOURCE: Picture warped..Can't fix convergence because crosshairs are also warped!!
hello fathertime, it seems we have the exact same problem with 60pp9202 convergence!
Please let me know how you solve it! And if you are in nyc area- I will pay someone to repair it! Kurt email- [email protected]

I just called customer support and my issue is now fixed, to my extreme surprise.
It sounds silly (and a tad embarrassing), but here's what I did:
1) Unplug the TV
2) Wait 30s
3) Plug the TV in
4) Test
Apparently even if the TV is "off" for a few days it never fully shuts down unless the power is unplugged. Not sure if this will help anyone else, but I had the exact same problem others are describing. Good luck!

You need to pull the front grill cover/panel off the front of the tv. Remove screws (4) from back that hold it on, also 2 small ones behind front video input door. Then remove access panel. The ckt board closest to you is the convergence amplifier board. You should replace both amplifiers (stk392-110 or 120) and any burnt/open resistors you find near the amps.(use the same value resistors as the corresponding resistors in the blue amp ckt)
