Question about HP LaserJet P1505n Printer
Well, the printer when cold seem to print a page ok. However after a few pages, it goes thru the motion (makes some initialization noises 3 or 4) of wanting to start but it does not click to pick up the paper, eventually it clicks and picks up the paper and prints... any help is appreciated
I've had this problem too. I believe it's the post that holds the drive gears wears or becomes loose causing timing problems.. Unfortunately there's no spare parts available for the optional tray. You would have to purchase a whole optional tray.

You need the pick up rollers replaced. Call your service centre to replace pick rollers as these are feeding the pages crocked

SOURCE: The laser makes a grinding
The most common issue is the fuser. Either the gear is broken on the fuser, or the bushing is worn out.
I recommend you take the unit in for service.
