Are you using a wireless controller, if so thats the problem most of the time, just interference, if not try another controller, if it still occurs try returning the console, also try a different game just to be sure but that probably not the problem.sounds to me like it's most likely a bad controller.

Just got an xbox 360 slim 250GB but when I went to play halo 3, the game was lagging along with the xbox menu itself. I even connected a plug-in controller and I had the same result showing that it was not...

If you just bought it brand new, then return it for an exchange. Its not wise to keep an electronics appliance or game console that is having issues straight out of the box. Using your A\V (RCA) cables instead of an HDMI cable shouldn't be causing any lag, at least nothing that is significant enough to notice.

Dreamcast has audio but no video

have you try getting a new audio and video cable? it might meant its time for a new one.

Lara moves awkwardly

This problem usually occurs with analog controllers when the analog controls are held down while the machine is turned on and the game starts up.

Run the game without touching the controler until the menu pops up.

If the problem still occurs, try the same step with another controller as the one you are using may have a damaged analog stick.

After trying these steps and the problem continues to occur then I suggest to check the disc for scratchs and smudges and give the game a good cleaning.

If you beleive it is a damaged disc then I suggest having the disc rebuffered at a local game shop.

Dreamcast wont power on

sounds like a fuse gone

there's one on the plug? (In uk there is)
There is a glass fuse inside the machine
So take it apart and look at it (close to the where the power goes into the machine
If there is no wire in the glass take it out and get a replacement at an electric shop.
DO NOT JUST PUT ANY OLD BIT OF WIRE IN THERE!

No Display

the surface mounted fuse on the motherboard might be fried up if you have a technical background try to override the blown fuses by soldering a wire on it

i'll post more information about that tomorrow because my notes are at home (i'm at work hehehe)

Dreamcast freezes.

take apart your dreamcast and look at the controller input circuit board, there should be a big resistor on near one of the boards corners, make a note of the coloured bands and buy a new resistor with the same pattern and replace the one already on the board with the new one.

Date screen

If you unplug you Dreamcast for extended periods of time the battery in your Dreamcast that saves that info will die (its suppose to last a month but over time they will wear out and not last at all). After 1 hour of gameplay (assuming the battery is still working, as Li's wear out) the battery will be fully charged and last a month.

Lag between ps2, ps3 and LCD TV.

2 questions:
Are you using HDMI cable?
Have you tried your ps3 in any other HDTV?

Heres why I ask you this. PS3 has some compatibility issues with some TVs (or Tvs have it with ps3....that is controversial xD) so if you happen to be so unlucky to have bought an HDTV which ps3 has issues with, you`ll have a problem (as was my case)

In my case whenever I switch resolutions or enter a game the HDTV starts flashing between the ps3 screen and some blank screen with dots. I have to remove the hdmi cable and connect it again and it solves. :D

So please answer my 2 questions in order to discard some possibilities.
