How To Fix Toshiba recovery disk?

The following page offers information about a Toshiba recovery disk as well as alternatives. It does not refer to the Windows 10 OS, however. You would do well to check the Toshiba site for information about recovering your particular model and OS. A user guide should be available there.

My thoshiba e-studio 352 giving an error "latch the developer unit". Please help to resolve this issue. Thanks Roy Robinson

I have a toshiba laptop I need reset without the recovery disk. Tech support said they could do it over the phone.. But I needed a credit card and I don't have one to use right now. Can someone please...

Let us ignore the bait and concentrate on recovering your laptop.

The recovery partition is still on the hard drive, use it to restaure the system:
Turn the computer off.
Press 0 and turn laptop on while maintaining pressure on 0 key
Once you see Hardrive recovery Mode displayed release the 0 key
Follow instructions on screen.

The recovery partition is no longer available or is corrupted
If your laptop is relatively new you can ask Toshiba product support to put you in contact with the company that sells the Recovery CD. They will need the laptop's serial and model number. The recovery CDs cost about 45 $ + applicable taxes.

You do not have a credit card: Use CASH.
Go to a store that sells the OS you are interested in. Buy the software. Should you need drivers, go to the Toshiba support site for your country of residence and download all that is available on the site that pertains to your Model number and your OS.

I had to reformat my laptop and i wasnt able to make a backup for my files. how do i put back the pre installed software for my laptop? its a toshiba L645D S4036...and the os i am using now is windows 7...

your laptop should have come with a recovery disk. Pop that in the drive and boot off the CD. it will install the factory os and software that came with your computer. NOTE: THIS WILL ERASE EVERYTHING CURRENTLY ON YOUR HARDDRIVE.
If you do nothave the recovery CD you can obtain one by contacting Toshiba, but this will cost you money.
if you wanted to upgrade to windows 7, you will have to download the drivers from toshiba for your notebook. as far as the programs that came preinstalled on your computer they might or might not work with windows 7. you can always run them in compatibility mode to get it to work (does not always work though)

So, you will need to find out the System recovery disk. also there is a built in option for recover the system in original factory default if the OS is provided by the Device vendor ( such as: hp, sony, toshiba etc.) they all provides the system with pc as System Recovery disc creator....
