My ENV2 keeps freezing during texting. I have to take the battery out to restart the phone. Is there anything I can do to fix this or do I need to take it in to be fixed?

    i have the same problem with mine... when i'm sending a text my phone will freeze up and i have to take out the battery. some guy at the verizon store who didn't even look at my phone or call verizon just gave me a number and told me to call and get a new phone for free. but i know a lot of people have this problem.

    I have the same problem. My env2 freezes every time i type like three words. Its so annoying but i heard many env2 owners have the same problem.

    i have the same problem. right now i cant even do anything with my phone, it keeps freezing up after 3 words or less.

Its because the phoen is getting to much data!
1.you have to turn the phone of and then take out the battery for 10 mins
2. then you have to put it back in(the battery) and DONT turn it on!!! wait anouther 10 mins then turn it back on! and that should work!!:) i hope i could help!
BTW i have a env2 lol just to let you know and my father workds for verizon! so this is how i know!

Its simple no need to replace the battery... If this is LG-ENV2 then open the battery cover and remove the battery , with the help of a pencil eraser (rubber) erase the Edges and make it new,,, ( the metal part should shine like new) now go ahead and put the batteries ,..it wont Restart

If it's truly a loose battery, more than likely it's the connections that are making secure contact. You can try with a thin pinted implement to pry the connection tabs on the battery compartment (the connectors onthe battery itself are fixed and imovable) outward ever so slightly and that will make for a better connection. But use care so that you don't over bend and break the connections.

Also look for any corrosion onthe connections which can cause intermittent failures.

My phone keeps freezing and restarting
it will end up costing you about 15 dollars but take it to a repair shop for the provider you use and they should be able to save all your info and flash a new version of the software onto your phone but it won't be free, that's the only way to fix that without buying a new phone.

RETURN IT! GET A BRAND NEW PHONE THE ENV'S ARE A PROBLEM. BELIEVE ME I AM ON MY 3RD ENV THE ORANGE ONE. BUT MINE DID THAT TOO AND THATS WHY I SENT IT BACK AND GOT A 3RD ONE AND THIS IS MESSING UP AND JUST GOT THE PHONE YESTERDAY.

I have a brand new (bought yesterday) enV2....
Being that you just bought the phone, you should take it back. Thats not normal. They can fix it, or exchange it. Good luck.
