Mitsubishi WS-48513 I have a Mitsubishi WS-48513 purchased in 2004. The past two days the green light on the front has been blinking constantly. Well every once in a while it stops for 30 or 40 seconds. The TV won't turn on. System reset did nothing. Unplugging it and replugging it did nothing. Absolutely nothing except the infuriarating light. Any help??

on your particular set the caps are usually not bad the dm board has to be replaced. It's not a cheap repair.

on this set you have a good chance with the 4 caps on the dm board.

Its very frustrating when we think we have something fixed and then forget to do something or hook something up wrong to only make what seemed like a simple repair much more complex...Here are a couple manuals if you don't have them that will help..Not sure if the last are the same as your TV but thought I would post them all in case they are...Good luck!

Unplugged my Sony for 36 hours from wall and it solved the problem

Bad solder on the vertical ic401, or bad solder on the yoke.

I have a Mitsubishi MITWS-65813.
The green led light constantly blinks. I tried the reset button and green light is still blinking. I unplug the tv, waited a few days, then plugged the tv back in, the green light still blinks. I have a lot of experience with soldering. Do you have any suggestions or can send repair directions/protocol for the DM board.

check the pico fuses on the reverse side of the DM , Just check them in circuit for continuity. let me know how you make out, and if you need any more advice lert me know

the dlp will most likely need a qualified mits repair center to take over for you. repairing that set is pretty involved. and the parts you would need are not available to the public.
on your 48" CRT projection check the DM module for 4 vented 1000mf 16v capacitors. replacement should get you tv working great

use 1000mf 25v or 35v 105 degree capacitors to replace
original four 1000mf 16v..............if new ones are a little
too high,just lay them over on board........
